I recieved a letter today offering me a credit card to pay off a debt for a new-port news account (i never had a newport news account) I starting recieving letters for collection 3 years ago I dsisputed the debt in writing like I was told to do. That was the end of it I never heard anything again until now. Today I received a letter with a special offer they clain i owe $359.76 principle balance and $436.04 in fees and finance charges for a total of $795.80 the offer says they will send me a credit card and i can make monthly payments of $35.00 and they will give me a total credit of $50 and I can continue to make the 35.00 payments until I pay off the 795 anyone have any ideas of what I can do? I never had this account to begin with a I stuck paying it?
