Welcome to First Convenience Bank where they mistreat you as an employee and as a customer. This bank is the divided sister of First National Bank and so far the company has gotten downhill. Want to know why? Because all the company cares about is sales goal. Sales goals is what pushes the company to be bigger but yet they don’t want to expand the bank to other states just because it can cause bad customer service or money loses. Anyways the bank offers bad quality services and take it from an employee who just sits there and tries to kiss a* to district managers. First things firsts the district managers are the worse from the managers because the company all cares about is their incentive checks. Right now I am so fed up with the company, the company hires anybody and that also includes bad employees. Here’s some drama that you should be aware of, I found out from someone just recently, (((redacted))) Yup and action was taken but wait there’s more. This case has not been taken outside the bank due to security purposes, but guess what I am letting it pass right now because I want everyone to see what goes on in those walls. How filthy if you ask me. Also to this company all they care about is sales goals. Mainly checking accounts because is what brings the company up. If you do poorly in your sales goals, they write you up and look bad upon you. The company does a lot of false advertisements when hiring employees. I never expected to open 15 accounts and with direct deposit. The less direct deposit, the less your paycheck is. And if you don’t hit your sales goal, you also don’t get paid for your hard work. Wow talk about trampy company if you ask me. This company will bring you down with them, especially when your feeling low. The district managers are the worse, especially mines. Travis Perez is my district manager and he is the far worse. He’s Houston’s big shot to many employees but for me he is a villain.

The bank is open at this time of hours

Monday-Friday 9am-7pm

Saturday              9am-6pm

Sunday                 11am-4pm

My district manager change our hours for us. If we don’t open our sales goals of around 6 to 8 accounts we have to work an extra hour on Sunday. So now we as employees we are open from 10:30am-5:30pm instead of 10:30am-4:30pm. Which is so unfair for many of us because we also have families at home that needs us. I didn’t signed up for this. Travis made this decision because he wants to make goal and get paid. All he does is deal with our problems and customers complaints. And don’t get me started with complaints of customers.

Employees from the bank are really unprofessional. I know some of the who have a double life outside the job and they bring their problems to the bank. I have no room to talk bad about my coworkers but still be aware of their movement.

Many of the employees do bad quality services to their customer. I actually know some who provide false information in banking account services. Many employees open secondary accounts for customers who don’t really need it. Checking accounts is their main priority and we are forced to open them. There are times that I hate marketing for the company. They want you outside the banking center to open bank accounts. Most of the time when I am not in the drawer I am walking around the convenience store just to clear my mind out. I’ve given up on the bank and as much as I want to leave, I can’t. I still need a new job. I can’t stand there and deal with crap.

If this place is so bad why are you still there? 

In a city the size of Houston there must be hundreds of branches of other banks and Credit Unions you could apply to.  Are you saying that there isn't a single bank that is hiring in the entire city of Houston?  Or is it that they just aren't hiring YOU?  If it is the later, perhaps you may need to take that as a hint that the banking industry may not be for you.
