My father got an account with this bank and without me this case would fall on deaf ears. He's been in prison and had explain his situation to the bank attendant. He would be getting a large sum of money and was looking for a nice bank to do business with. The issue was my experience with this bank has never been good they are thieves but then again that's could be with all banks. They explained he needed to get direct deposit and explained this would keep him from being charge a 9.99 fee they charged every month.

This sounds good in terms of saving money but they started him up two accounts. The issue was the company that was ordered to do direct deposit did not. They went against my father's wishes and it was a government agency. He could not control this regardless to what he had asked. He would find out later it was not that easy to correct when his account with into the negative with this bank charging him an additional $ 2.49 for everyday. The issue was not solved because when my father explain his situation the bank didn't care all they wanted was there money.

The original attendant that started this account was no longer available. The two accounts went into a negative and he came to me explaining what happened. He was caught in the middle. I explained when the company did not place his money into the account it breached the agreement. However, did he try to close it. He stated within the first month when the company didn't deposit his money and could tell him when the issue would be corrected. It was told him then by another banker that he could not close the account because he just opened the account.

I asked if he was ever given the twenty five dollar option that they have that no one ever is clearly aware of in these type of events? I know because I know this bank and how they hold over small transactions to allow bigger ones if you're a person that doesn't keep a balance that keeps you covered.  He explained this was never an option but when he let me hear him  speak with an operator I was very disappointed. He was told then yes that was an option but with his account now being in a larger balance overdue they could not help him.

I think it sad when customer service is no longer about the customer. He never really ever used the accounts either because of this issue. If they check into his account they would see this account had to purpose at the end. I am here to fight for my father and anyone that has been placed into this situation. He is willing to pay the $25.00 for each account if this apart of it. But the 9.99 on each account plus the 2.49 daily fee is not human and is something my father does not agree to and had I been there he would've went to another Bank PERIOD. You guys lost a great customer but CHASE welcomed him.
