First Credit Of America fraudulently Representing MyPerfectCredit.com And ClearCredit.com MyPerfectCredit.com says DO NOT GIVE 1st Credit of America A DIME! FRAUD Ripoff Chicago Illinois

DO NOT PAY FIRST CREDIT OF AMERICA! Tonight I spoke with someone at MyPerfectCredit.com about First Credit of America and their exact words were "Do not give them a dime." This is blatant fraud and what they are doing is criminal.

First Credit of America is representing themselves as a collections agency for MyPerfectCredit.com and ClearCredit.com. MyPerfectCredit.com was using First Credit of America (that's how they got our information) but are no longer because of their "fraudulent business practices." The man at MyPerfectCredit.com said, "First Credit was told to cease and desist with all matters having to do with MyPerfectCredit or Clear Credit last Thursday. They don't represent us. Do not give them a dime."

THIS IS FRAUD AT ITS WORST. A caller from First Credit of America actually threatened me by saying, "If you don't pay now, it's only going to get worse. The law will get involved and people are going to start coming to your house looking for you until you pay." I'm sure thousands are scared by these fear tactics and just pay up! How horrible!

And if you read the details of The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (http://www.ftc.gov/os/statutes/fdcpa/fdcpact.htm) I'm sure you'll find that they are in violation of many aspects of the law.

If you need the peace of mind that you don't owe MyPerfectCredit or ClearCredit any money, call them and ask them for yourself.

I called tonight and was on hold for a long time and got disconnected twice, but eventually talked to someone. I think that they are being overwhelmed by phonecalls dealing with this mess.

I plan to fax First Credit of America a Cease & Desist letter. I was given this information for First Credit by one of their callers.
