A company called with the name First Credit of America. The person said he was wanted to collect debt from me for 900 calls.

When I asked for more detail, he "fumbled around" for a response and said it was for calls made back in 2000 and then tried to confirm a lot of personal information with me. When I said I wasn't comfortable doing that over the phone he hung up on me.

When I called the number back, a lady answered and asked if I had been contacted. When I answered yes, she transferred me to the same guy who just answered with a "hello." Obviously, just an unprofessional answering - it's just a scam company.

The number they called from is 866-505-2632.

This company is obviously still in business and something needs to be done. I contacted the Texas Attorney General's office, the FTC and the Department of Regulation.
