First Data Cardservices International Reselling Merchant Cart Manager Internet

In an effort to add a shopping cart to my company website I started researching shopping carts, functionality, and pricing. I already have a merchant account and needed something that would function with this account.

My web design person contacted First Data Global Gateway because that is who my online account functions through for processing of our card charges with my merchant account. He contacted them to find out what the requirements were for a shopping cart to connect to their system and my merchant account. Why spend money on something if it won't work with their system?
We sent over toa First Data Cardservices Internatioal sales rep. Their sales person informed us that we HAD to purchase THEIR cart if we wanted it to work right and the cost was $250!

Since I was not given any options we signed the paperwork and they sent us the download for the cart. Which was NOT THEIR cart! It was Cart Manager which is a cart I had already received pricing for two weeks earlier at $50! They are reselling the exact same cart that I can go directly to the company and buy for a fraction of the price.

Needless to say I was and still am furious that they claimed this was their product and that I had to purchase their product to get it to work.

They charged 5 times the price for the same cart and refuse to refund my money because I singed their order form that states it is non-refundable! I would put that on my form too if I was ripping people off!

In addition we were led to believe that their standard monthly service was sufficient to handle an actual shopping cart funcitonality but when we received the download we also received an additional pricing guide showing that you have to pay extra if you have more than 10 items in your shopping cart list. 

This company is a complete rip off! They charge 5 times the price to get the software and reduce the functionality to the point that you have to pay a minimum of $50 a month to even get it to work. Which is double what Cart Manager actually costs.
