Do NOT buy or lease these terminals. FD stands for First Data.  They are proprietary machines that can ONLY be programmed by First Data (or it's hundreds of independent sales offices under other names... still end up with First Data behind the scenes)... Which means you spend hundreds our thousands of dollars on a machine that once you quickly learn your deal isn't as spectacular as you thought it was, you can't go to ANY other processor like Elavon or Paymentech without buying new machines.

Always check to be sure the machine you're getting can be used on more than one payment processing network!

We owned a Nail salon for 5 years. Having my own terminal for credit card service.   On Oct 21st 2009, Jon Cannon who work for the company name Icon Payment Solution, came say that we've been wasting our money for the credit card service that we have. and his company is international wholesale from Visa-mastercard.    After looking at my statement & volume, he said he could save me total $250 a month guarantee by using his service, and he give me a trial that cancel anytime without fee and thing. I say it s Ok and I gonna use my own machine (which I pay $280 long time ago) eventhough he told me mine is old and no good...couple days later I received a box with a credit machine in it. I call him and he said that machine for temporary use while he took mine away to activate.    On Oct 28th 2009, he came to my shop and show me a Lease Argreement which say credit machine month to month lease and Icon gonna pay for that in order to have my service, and told me to sign. I did not sign I told him to sign because his company gonna pay for anyway. and he said forget about it because I have my own so as long as I have his comp. service the machine is free to use I don't have to worry about it. So I DID NOT SIGN ANY LEASE AGREEMENT.   On Nov 25th 2009,looking at my checking Acct on line I saw a withaw of $350.35 from FDGL, calling Jon Cannon, and he told me that is a mistake, he will request a refund to my acct by 7 busines days.   After 7 days, My money still not coming back, I call Jon Cannon and he's gone, nowhere to find him. I call his company and the answer is "you lease that machine and have to pay for it, that equipment belong to FDGL, they have no care about it and hang up on me. I asking for a lease that I signed, they send me the Delivery Slip and the wholesale sumary which they put "60 month@ $154" after I signed. there is no lease sign at all.   I call FDGL, they told me to talk to Icon ...I call Icon they told me they dont care...I am tired.  thats really a RIP-OFF...I am working hard for those Cheating people rip me off monthly...what I gonna do. Some one outthere help me out. I am ready for anything to put those cheating and rip-off out of the hard-working people that dealing everyday with tough Economy to survive... thanks a lot.            

I was able to receive ALL of my money back.  I filed complaints with the Illinois Attorney General as well as the Arizona Attorney General.  The Illinois AG was very helpful, the AZ was not.   My "lease agreement" signature was forged and I was finally able to prove it.  Make sure you keep all copies of records.  One of their games is to walk away without leaving you a copy of their agreements.  If you need further assistance or if you plan on suing, I would be happy to cooperate. 

I finally found an honest company that is cheaper than ICON and delivers on all of their promises.
