The internal fuel sensor to my 2001 Silverado is bad and they say it is not covered.

I have the Powertrain and High tech Plan and it states that "Fuel tank and lines, gas fuel injectors pump and lines. Being that it is an internal part to the fuel tank it should be covered.

I need help since I have only 3,500 miles left on this policy.
