On december 2 I recieved a phone call about an offer for an credit card with a 2500 dollar credit limit a free gateway computer a digital camera and a cell phone with a plan i got suspiciousafter i kept calling the 1-800 number and no one awnsered so i called the other number and the same guy anwsered again and he told me the name of the compay. so i went directly home and looked it up. i found this site and found it extreamly helpful but it was too late. the money was already taken out and now im going to try and get my money back. this is right before christmas.my husband is in the army active duty. and he just joined about 1 year ago and money is tight. i have 3 children and i just wanted to get extra cash for the holidays.i am very pissed i also have friends in the army and he is forced to defend people like this.please dont let these assholes get away with this.

stored value mastercard application would be sent in the mail in 2-3 weeks so i can have a completly useless card

AUTHOR: Candice - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, January 01, 2005

i got a package today from first link benefits. i was not surprised to find what was in it.. a cupon for a free digital camera..a 39.95 fee though sent to another company in champlain n.y. a paper that says welcome to first link benefits we hpoe you enjoy all the benefits and services that come in this DYANMIC package....lol. and a stored value mastercard application would be sent in the mail in 2-3 weeks so i can have a completly useless card. i also recieved a dish network promo offer..i have digital cable and internet through time warner cable.. another useless peice of paper.a med save advantage coupon..my family has health insurance through the army with perscription coverage about 80 to 90% of our perscriptions are covered, we dont take any percriptions so yet again useless. a peoples internet offer where i can get a gateway computer IF i pay 860.40 for 3 years internet service and 100 dollars for odds and ends costs. a cupon offer for a free vaction if i pay hotel costs 100 dollars a night, activation fee, more b.s. grocery coupons that i have to pay 2 dollars for each 10 dollars i request, and resturant coupons only if i agree to promo offers. so i was very detaild only because i want people to know how serious it is to get your money back RIGHT AWAY dont wait to see what is sent it may be to late. i am thankful i was able to recieve some of my money back but dont let them fool you. they are a big joke and one day thay will pay.

i got my money back but had to pay bank fees

AUTHOR: Candice - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, December 23, 2004

i called my bank and went in and signed a paper and got my money back but had to pay bank fees in the amount of 200 dollars. they really screwed up our christmas and i hope they get taken down. so i actually only got back 154.90 and i couldnt even finish christmas shopping. anyway the bank said they could not refund my bank fees, i would have to take it up with the company and make them pay the bank fees so i had to take a big loss. but i will be careful next time and check out any company and thanks to ripoff report i was able to obtain my money so thanks again ripoff repot.
