This credit card was to help me re-establish my credit. After paying on the credit card and having high fees, I decided to close the account. I called and closed the account. The balance was paid in full. There was no debt to this company. I went to apply for a home loan.....guess what showed up on my credit report First National Bank of Marin..

I contacted equifax to see if it could be removed from my credit report..they gave me the number to bank of marin I called them and tried to see what was going on, they told me that they had sold my account to a company called Titan Recovery...I explained to the person whom I was talking to that I closed the account..they then told that me that since I did not cut up the freaking credit card and send it back to them that it was still an active account..I reportedly owed $904.00 which was late fees and over the limit fees...how can you accrue late fees and over the limit fees on an account that was closed...

They told me to call Titan Recovery because they no longer had the account...I called Titan..They told me that they sold the account to a company called Professional Recovery Systems located in Voorhees, New Jersey 08043..I called them...they went through the whole spill of saying they sent me a letter, that I never received..Because I contacted them they called me back with somebody saying that I was being sued..I got the card in 2002, it is now 2006 this is an unfair practice they want me to settle on an account that I had closed...I guess that is why they changed their name.. because they know they are cooked and unjust
A lesson well learned do not try to re-establish your credit with a crappy card like this!!!!!
