I have spent endless hours arguing with "idiot" telemarketers! Like many of the other VICTIMS that I have read on this site I too fell prey to the slick marketing technique this company is promoting Nationwide. I was responding to what I thought was a "$15,000 APPROVED MAJOR CREDIT CARD" by sending in a check made payable to PEOPLE'S CREDIT FIRST in the amount of $45.00 as a memebership fee. Which by the way was deposited to a BANK OF AMERICA ACCOUNT /Stamped.....FOR DEPOSIT ONLY PEOPLE'S CREDIT FIRST.LLC ACCT# 003449742764

When I received what appeared to be a MAJOR Credit Card I read over the material with the company letterhead being C.C.S. CREDIT SERVICE DIVISION 61 W. UTAH STE. 63, LAS VEGAS NV 89102, immediately called the toll free number listed 1-800-717-1278 to inform them NOT to activate my card and in fact I was outraged that I had sent in a $45.00 membership fee and this is what I got. I spoke with 2 representatives and informed them not to activate this card. I then spoke to a manager, name VICTOR trying efortlessly to explain that CCS was linked to PEOPLE'S CREDIT FIRST to which he responded they were NOT.

IF ANYONE HAS THE ORIGINAL MARKETING OFFER ASKING FOR THE $45, or I see in some states it was $43 can you please post the MAILING ADDRESS. I for ONE am going to persue this through LEGAL channels, FILE A CLAIM with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, Contact my STATE AND LOCAL POLITICAL REPRESENTATIVES,I HAVE FAMILY MEMBERS WHO WORK FOR A MAJOR NEWS STATION AND I AM GETTING MY $45.00 BACK AND THEN SOME..........SO IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO JOIN FORCES INSTEAD OF COMPLAINING OR FEELING SORRY FOR YOURSELF
LIKE I DID(FOR ABOUT 45 SECONDS)BECAUSE AS AN INTELLIGENT HARD-WORKING SINGLE MOM I'D BEEN SCAMMED - LET'S SHUT THESE PEOPLE DOWN BEFORE THEY CAUSE MORE HARM. ESPECIALLY TO THE ELDERLY AND THE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HAVE A COMPUTER OR THE RESOURSES TO INVESTIGATE THIS CRIME.
SHAME ON THEM FOR GETTING OUR MONEY........SHAME ON US FOR LETTING THEM KEEP IT. Please post a message if you would like to reach me and GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!!!!! M Butler - New Jersey
