What more could you ask for. If you are late on your bill this company will hand pick someone to call and harass your family. They made direct comments to me such as , "why don't you pay your bill like a man" "You are not worthy to speak to my supervisor".

I too payed them many fees for BS charges, but the one that really pissed me off was when I paid my bill off completely, and did not use it for several months. When I checked my account two months after that, I noticed that there was a 3.95 fee for each month. Thats a participation fee! I already paid them 179.00 to get the card and 11.00 each time I paid my bill online! To top it off they then assessed a late fee to my account because I didn't pay the 3.95.

I will return to this site again and give more details of this SCAM of a company, but need to write to better business bureau, and send these people a cease and disist letter to stop their harassment.

continued harrasment despite a cease and disist letter!!!

AUTHOR: Mike - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, June 04, 2005

I was a bit vague in my earlier report and felt more detail was needed in order to help warn other consumers about this company!

I recieved an offer from first premier bank shortly after my bankruptsy in 2002. I accepted the card due to all of their promises that they could help rebuild credit. I was given an initial credit limit of 250.00. My first bill included 179.00 worth of fees which I paid in good faith believing this was a way to improve my credit rating. Right off the bat I had problems with all of their completely erroneous fees. They even charge you 11.00 to pay your bill. I paid the bill according to our aggreement for the next two years. I then lost my job due to a disability. I attempted to explain this to the representatives of this company and requested that they no longer call my home as they had been incredibly abusive, threatening, and demeaning to both my wife and I over the telephone. On todays date(5-25-05) at 6 PM, while I was eating dinner this company called again. I again requested that they correspond with me via mail. They refused and said "get ready for lots more phone calls", and "why don't you be a man and pay your bills". I explained numerous times that I fully intend to pay this bill. Richard, identified as "f 35", a supervisor, continued to be abusive until I chose to end the call. (Richard continually refused to allow me to talk to his supervisor or give me a number to contact them. He went further on this topic by saying "You are not worthy of talking to my supervisor." I was so astounded at the unprofessionalism, that I went online and did a general search for first premier. What I found out is that this company has ripped off many others in the same way.

So many hidden charges and abusive behavior quite similiar to my and my wifes experience. This company is an out of control bully that needs to accept responsibility for their abusive tactics. During my conversation with Richard on 5-25-05, I requested to have my account closed, and asked numerous times to be removed from his list. He refused.

Following some research on the net about these thieves I filed a report with rip off report and the better business bureau, and am looking for a class action suit against first premier. On 5-26-05, I sent a cease and disist letter to these people to stop the abusive phone calls. Despite my reciept of the letter being recieved on 5-31-05. (I sent it certified return reciept requested) My wife recieved a phone call on that date by another representative of first premier who this time stated that she was willing to help, and that there was a program for unemployed people, that would take the card out of collection and stop the phone calls.

At first my wife explained to the woman that first premier was very offensive in the past and as a result we were forced to send in a cease and disist letter. This woman was much more congeaneal that the earlier callers and actually told my wife of some options.

Had these options been offered by the other callers we would never have researched this company on the net and reported them to the better business bureau. Despite that fact my wife informed the caller about the cease and disist letter, I recieved another call on 6-4-05, informing me of even more new charges. I told the caller that we had sent them a cease and disist letter and had reciept of them recieving it.

She explained that the letter I had written must have expired as they were only good for thirty days. I told her that was completely innacurate and explained that they had recieved my certified letter on 5-31-05. I asked to speak to her supervisor, and was told tht my letter must just still be being processed. I again asked to speak to her supervisor, and she responded "if you insist". I was on hold for over five minutes when a "Roger" came on the phone.

I told Roger of the entire situation and again asked to be taken off his list. He stated that they had not recieved the letter as of yet. I explained to him that it was certified and that they had indeed recieved it. He informed me that although my number had been removed from my account it was still in their automated system. I told him I would like him to close my account, clear the balance owed, and to stop the harrassing phone calls. He told me he would close the account, however I have been told this before. He also explained that he could not do anything about the balance. I asked him how I could contact Dana Dykhouse, the director of the company. He shared that it was actually Miles Beacom, but that Mr. Beacom didn't accept phone calls. I told him that I would take care of the issue through the better business bureau, ripoff report.com, and litigation if neccesary. (actually I didn't need his help contacting Mr Beacom, or Mr Dykhouse as I already have their addresses and home phone numbers that I obtained legally through the south dakota secretary of state web site) Despite their utter lack of respect for my privacy, I will wait to see the resolution of this matter prior to listing them and all the directors' address' and phone numbers. This company needs to be stopped. They apparently also believe they are above the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.

I have followed the letter of the law and am still being harrassed. I will post any new progress or any other harrasing phone calls.
