about 3 years ago i receive a letter from first resolution investment corp that i had court date. I went to court i find out that they had jugdement against me that i did not know which is from April 21,2004. I try to talk to this people they were so ruded. so i went to court and the court was dismisted. so i thought that everything has been clearify, so 2 years past and i receive a letter from them saying for me to show to court. i went to clerk office at superior court to find out where this debt is coming from but it has no record whatsoever, i have no cleu where this from and how they got my ssn.

If they ever bring the debt up make sure when you get it dissmissed make sure it is with Predjudice so that they can not bring it back again in court! My friend which I am helping is going through the same thing! He was never served and they got a default judgement in his case. The problem was that it was a fradulent debt that he did not create. now over 10 year old this debt, they are trying to extend it another 10 years. We are counter suing them, which I suggest if it is a fradulent debt do sue them (counter sue)! This company First resolution sounds very shady, the more I investigate their activities the more I find people like you and many others with simular stories! I will aslo be presenting this evidence to the courts, as they should be aware of it!
I would check to see how they dissmissed the case. Was it with or with out Prejudice. If the case was dissmissed with Predjudice this company cannot legaly come after you and you could counter sue for harrassment.
Just wondering if they used the same law firm Brewer and Brewer?
