FirstData After almost 3 years they want to charge me $500 to close account, Very deceptive company, stay away Internet
*Consumer Comment: You are not alone
*Consumer Comment: So, what DOES the WRITTEN contract YOU signed say?
I was with this company for 2 years and 10 months. I finally found an honest CC processor to use which is square that has no monthly fees or contract and a flat fee. So it was time to get rid of FirstData because I have not been happy with the fee's for a very long time. FirstData told me I have to pay a $500 fee or continue to pay monthly fee's to finish my contract. When I signed up I was told it was a year contract, who the hell would sign up for a 3 year contact? This company is out to Rip people off. Stay away from using this company!!!

I'm a victim of FirstData's abuse and fraudulent activity. When I signed an agreement with CoastalPay (an ISO of FirstData) I refused to sign an equipment lease and stated on the agreement that I'm not leasing an equipment. They used my signature to forge a lease contract in my name, which they tried to use as a blackmail to force me to sign such contrat. I refused! I know I didn't sign the lease and stated it clearly in the agreement authorise them to process my credit cards. I know they can't not sue me because they risk to get their trick exposed. I'm not stopping there. I'm going to turn the table on them by sueing them myself for fraud, forging false documents and blackmail. Are you sure you filled and signed all the papers they claim you did? Did they give you a copy of all those documents upon signature with a rep? It's a well and sofisticated scam they are running and it's time to pull it off. I want you to join me.
