Fisher Investments is a marketing machine, but Fisher does not pay attention to your personal portfolio.

When you sign up, all your funds are lumped into their portfolio without regard for current economic or stock market conditions.  Individual stocks in the portfolio are not examined to see if they are over bought or have poor performance.

Whinin a few weeks of hiring Fisher to be my money manager, my portfolio was down nearly $100,000.  Fisher was floundering, keeping some stocks for a year before selling them at an over 30% loss.

I suppose if you happen to get in with them right after a huge pullback, you maybe OK.

BEWARE, Fisher does not sell when there is a downturn, and you can lose all your profit, if any.

Their fees for trades are higher than promised.  I was not allowed to speak to anyone in accounting to question their fees.  You can only speak to your "Investment Counselor"...useless.

I gave my Investment Counselor instructions to stop buying any more stocks for me, and I wanted them to continue to sell all the stocks they would be selling in their portfolio.  They did not follow my instructions.  They stopped buying stocks.  They refused to sell any stocks, but did not notify me this process was against their policy.  I only found out through a friend of mine.

Don't believe the hype or media advertising!  There are good money managers out there.  I found a great one.  I hope this review keeps soneone else from making the same mistake I did.
