Fitness Connection Deceptive Business Practices. Will not cancel your membeship!! Houston, Nationwide

Fitness Connection is a national fitness center with locations throughout the United States.  The company is involved in very deceptive business practices and almost fraudulent activity with customers.

The problem is customers cancel their memberships per the contract requirements and the gym does not stop drafting ACH payments from customers banks or credit cards.  The customer has to cancel the credit card or in extreme cases setup a new bank account to stop the charges.  Once the individual has the charges stopped from closing the bank account or credit card they are shocked months later that Fitness Connection has handed them over to a collection agency for months of un-used gym usage that they (Fitness Connection) claim was never canceled.  Its not a lot of money for a few months of membership they claim I owe but if you multiple this by the 1000s ripped off by deceptive practices it is.

Fitness Connection denies ever receiving the certified letter and makes it very difficult to clear the matter up over the phone.   

Stay away from this outfit and go to another gym!  What a nightmare.
