DONT BUY AN EGINE FROM 5 STAR! Five Star Engines of Glendale Arizona
I do not recommend this place for buying or installing engines I purchased a remanufactured ford 302 engine for my 95 ford F150 truck ( I had since it was new) . I also paid them to install it! The warranty was for one year and unlimited mileage.
At 13 months and 12000 miles the crankshaft snappedYes just 1 month out of warranty, yes I agree they are not liable but I think a $3500 motor (including install) should last a lot further than 12000 miles.
Dont buy an engine at Five Star is the lesson I have to pass on to anyone shopping rebuilt engines! They sold me a P. O. S. cheezbox ! I got ripped off!
