My husband bought a car and it was financed through Flagship Credit Acceptance.  After paying on the car for 2 months, we went to our hometown bank and asked them if they could take the loan over, since we do all our business at our bank, this would make it a lot easier on  us.  Agreeing to take on the load, the officer at the bank told us to call our loan company on the car and tell them to send a "pay off" fax to them, that way, the loan officer could start the paperwork and get the bank as the loan holder.

Starting on March 9th, 2016 at 8:40a, it was told to us, after we called and made these arrangements with Flagship Credit Acceptance, that the fax had indeed been sent.  The next day, we called the bank and it had not been sent.  The same day, I called Flagship Credit Acceptance and asked if they had sent it.  For one, they got the loan officers name wrong, and two, they said they had sent it.  But, according to our bank, it had not shown up.  Here it is, 3/21/2016 and I just called speaking with a representive named Sandra and she was triple rude.  So much so, she spoke over me without me getting a word in edge-wise. I didn't tell her to shut up... I made sounds like... zzzush... to get her to shut up and hear me.  She got loud and said, "Don't you tell me to shut up."  I told her, "I didn't tell you to shut up, but you're not going to talk over me."  At that moment, she hung up on me. 

I called back... waiting forever for a rep to pick up.  And I got hold of a real nice lady named Milliey.   She did indeed say that a fax had been sent, but it had to go through another representative before it could be sent.  I told her a few days ago I spoke with a guy named Steve and he assured me that it would only be 3 days. (that was March 9th) She did tell me, if my bank had not gotten the information  to call back in three days and talk to a manager.  I just don't understand how we live in a technology world, and it takes less than minutes to send a fax/email, but it takes them over a week to get a fax out, (if they had sent it out).

Finallly got it fixed

Flagship Credit Acceptance did send the paperwork, but it was sent on April 6, 2016.  (almost a month after they said it was sent to my bank)  The loan officer at my bank said it would have been difficult for another officer to file my loan, since the fax had expired.  But this officer we were working with is an experienced employee and was able to work around it.  Not only did I get my payment lowered, but the interest rate dropped, AND the pay off for the car was reduced. 

Flagship Credit Acceptance, in my view point, is an awful company and they love to take on these car loans so they can rip the people off.  My advice to anyone wanting to purchase a car, be very careful with this company, you will lose money in the long run.
