Me and my wife recently financed a car from a dealer in Tampa Florida. The dealer was nice and all butthe finance company they had us go with wasout of control. To start withe the dealer had us lie to them cause they wanted to interview my wife and i, then we had to give them a deposit on the site which ened up being $800. After all this we continued making payments based on our income which was at the time weekly. We were actually able to make 2 week payments and at first they gave us a issue but we eventually got them to accept our money. Another month or so went by and we decided we were wasting more gas going to the store and paying them lets just pay them with our debit card (bad idea). $5 for us just to pay with the card and then we actualluy punched in the wrong amount and we just said we'll make it up on the following payment. They callled from 8 in the moring till 5 at night...this was day after day and it was a unknownnumber showing up on our caller ID so we never answer those i mean really what family does? Eventually the number wouldnt stop so i answered the phone. I said "Hello?" the lady at the other end goes" This is Flamingo Finance and you owe us $2.oo on your previous payment" I laughed at her i said u guys been callin me for the past coupleof days for $2.00 you must be kidding me. She then tells me that if i dont pay the $2.00 right now this instant she will send a tow truck over to get my car right now. I continuted to laugh at her like how can you disrespect me when im paying your d**n salary and i never ever have been late on a payment ever if anything they were paid before they were even due. I told her i would make the $2.00 up on the next payment and i think that made her a little mad and she lost her top, yelling and screaming we want the money now you need to pay us now her own words" You must not understand me you need to pay me now or else!" after that i hung up the phone. Eventually i paid the extra $2.00 and the next payment
Personally i would never deal with this company ever again im surprised Bank Of America has anything to do with a company like this. The have no respect for the people that pay them all they car about is i guess $2.00 i would hate to see what happens if you were .50 cents short . Something needs to be done about this compnay i believe we need to find a attorney and take on this company so they cant treat future or recent customers like this .
