I had a terrible experience with Flamingo Pools. I would avoid this company and its owner Dennis Gomez if you do not want this happening to you.
I paid Dennis with cash for a pool cover in November because he insisted I pay him in cash. Months passed and he did not give me the pool cover I paid him for. He kept blaming it on the pool cover company but I later found out the real problem was that he had kept the money I paid him.
Only until I sat down with a detective from the BROWNSVILLE POLICE dept did he finally give me the pool cover I paid him for, and even then he stalled and it took forever. In all I waited months for him to do a simple thing I had paid him for.
He kept lying to me, avoiding my calls and in general created a nightmare for me and my family. Please do not use this company for your pool. In my opinion he is extremely unproffessional and should be avoided.

As always, we welcome all feedback and would like to proceed in addressing any and all complaints, grievances and dissatisfaction to the best of our ability.
In our 33 years of business, and 6,200 pools later, we still lament any displeasure on behalf of any Flamingo Pools customer. Our career has been a long one, but we remain apologetic to those few case-specific clients who may have been and remain disgruntled.
Firstly, Flamingo Pools would like to state that our company did not build the complainant's pool, but rather sold him a heat pump and a customized pool cover that was ordered through another company. The heat pump was installed the very next day. As the pool cover was being custom designed to fit the complainant’s pool, delays with the manufacturer were absolutely out of Flamingo Pool’s control and we stand behind that today. Delays that occurred in the process of ordering and delivering the aforementioned pool cover were always explained to the customer, and while regrettable, the customer did receive the custom-made pool cover and we promptly installed it.
We are always grateful for the opportunity to respond to feedback and will always do so.
