My wife and I and two other couples booked rooms here at this so called resort (This is not a resort it is a sleazy motel) to go to the Mecum Auto Auction. Our friend had booked the rooms and paid for them online with an email confirmation showing the costs of each room and the total cost. When we arrived they asked for each of our credit cards and we were told that they had to charge a $25.00 deposit to each card and it would be put back on our card when we checked out. 

Later in the month I checked my statement and the card had been charged but had not been credited back to the card. When I called our friends it was the same with them. So I called the motel and explained our $25.00 had not been credited back on our cards, they told me I was mistaken and that was the total cost of the room. When I asked for an email address to send them our email confirmation with costs they hung up. So evidently they are doing this scam with about everyone that checks in.

I did file a BBB complaint but they just ignored it, that is why I came on here. I also tried to put this on their website under reviews but it wouldn't let me into reviews.

There site says they have so many good reviews but you can't get in to read any or to write one.

I wonder how long they have done this for and how many thousands of dollars they have ripped off from consumers.

When I contacted credit card they had me fill out a dispute form and said it would be removed. The disput could take up to 90 days.
