Flat Rate Movers LLC Scam Movers did not deliver Atlanta, Georgia

I moved from Atlanta on June 29th and had my furniture picked up by Shawn Flatrate Movers LLC to be delivered once I found a place in San Diego, CA.  I called on July 18th and was assured that dispatch would send my bed and boxes out in five business days. I gave them my new address of 3803 Marquette Place, San Diego, CA 92106. Their phone number is 404-333--5553. When the items were picked up, the moving quote jumped from $945 to $1,597. I paid $958 in a cashiers check to the movers when the items were picked up; to pay a balance of $639 when the items were deliver here. I called again on July 21st and was assured dispatch would send them out in five business days. I  

I followed up with a call today on July 28th and was told by dispatch that nothing had been done to move my items to San Diego. I should email them again with my address and they would have 15 business days from today (July 28th) to get my items delivered. I can send you my previous emails and probably a phone log from my cell phone on my previous contacts with this company.

At this point I wonder if my items will ever arrive in San Diego.  Don't use this company!!!!

They have six negative reports with the Better Business Bureau of Atlanta, which gives them a F rating. The company fails to respond to complaints filed with the BBB and they will not return phone calls. Your calls go directly to voice mail.
