Good Rewards, Inc D.B.A. Floors Depot TX failed to complete a service that I contracted for. On or about March 30, 2012 a contract was initiated for Floors Depot TX to install floors in my fitness studio. The company initiated the project but still has yet to complete the project. Immediately after attempted installation the flooring was coming up and the glue used on the floors has not adhered to the flooring materials. I have attempted several times to get the company to complete this job in exchange for the remaining amount contracted for unsuccessfully. On or about April 12, 2012 I gave $1600.00 cash to a representative of Floors Depot TX to replace a check given on March 30, 2012 that was in the amount of $1500.00. The company has since tried to file two FALSE complaints with two different district attorneys alleging the check for $1500.00 was dishonored. A demand letter has been sent with no resolution.

Beware of this company and their antics!

Latashia Alexander, owner of I Sweat Studio paid with a check for the deposit for her flooring in the amount of $1,500.00.  The check was returned from the bank for “non sufficient funds” after the flooring had been installed on March 30, 2012.  On April 5, 2012, Ms. Alexander then wrote another check for the entire amount of her flooring for $3,275 asking us to hold it until April 12, 2012 at which time she promised to have the funds in the bank to cover the amount of the check.  On April 12, 2012, Ms. Alexander asked us not to deposit the second check and instead told us she would bring cash to pay  for the flooring.  Ms. Alexander only brought cash in the amount of $1,600 leaving an unpaid balance of $1,675 plus the return check fee of $25.00.  Ms. Alexander did not make a complaint about the flooring until after Floors Depot TX notified her on September 1, 2012 that a suit would be filed against her in small claims court for the unpaid balance of her flooring.  In addition, Ms. Alexander brought a friend into the store the week after her flooring was installed and the friend bought the same product.

Floors Depot TX and I Sweat Studio (Latashia Alexander)   subsequently went to court and Floors Depot TX was granted a judgment in the amount of $1,700 plus 5% interest compounded annually,  against Latashia Alexander and I Sweat Studio on February 6, 2013.
