This nightmare started on July 12,2010. My husband and I attended a presentation for a vacation club which seemed to have good deals on all types of travel. But I told the sales people we couldnt buy because we owned three timeshares. The sales reps, Robyn Love and Jeff Stegmoller said the company would take one of our time shares and since it was paid in full they would give us half of the worth. I have the "Market Analysis" from that day and the worth was $4025. So they said they would take $2000.00 off the package price making our price $3970 plus a processing fee of $299.00 totaling $4269.

The next year, June 22,2011 while on vacation (timeshare) I received a call from Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, and was told I was delinquent on my maintenance fees. Six months behind. This is the timeshare turned over to FBD.

I started calling FBD spoke to Randy quite a few times and was told various stories. On June 28, 2011 he said he received an email from Nancy at TSC and they would be finishing up with closing and meet with corporate in the morning. That was another lie. It took my another few months and FBD did pay that year. But the following year I had  the same problem and those people mentioned above were gone. I was told when I called to take back my timeshare because it was not taken out of my name and the maintenance fees were not paid again. So that what I did.

I haven't used the club at all because the deals are not as described during the presentation. I tried but could always find the same trip for less on my own. June 2012 my daughter wanted to go the OC Maryland for senior week so I called FBD and they found a two bedroom bayside for $1625 which must be paid in full and if I cancelled I would loose all my money. I ask for the name of the resort and called and got a price of $1200. this happened often.

I have also called and spoke to Daniel Summers, who will tell you what you want to hear and do nothing. He spoke to me on April 23, 2013 for 41 minutes. He said he was so sorry and would look into the situation. FBD isnt that kind of company and he was going to make this right! He took my cell number and said he would call me back on Friday. That didnt happen. I left a messsage for him to call me April 30,2013. I didnt get in touch until July 29,2013 and he said he needed a list of maintenance fees I had paid and after he received this FBD would reimburse the fees. I faxed it to him (866-418-5161) and waited but he didnt call. I called him and he said he didnt receive it, sent again and I called to make sure he had the paperwork. I was unable to contact him after that until Oct. 10,2013 and he said the company FBD was going to refund the money paid for the package. He said the new company is called Suite Dreams and it would be done through them but he had to meet with the comptrolled of the company and he would know by Oct. 16,2013. Today is Feb 11,2014 and I cant reach him. If I get through on his number (866-418-5161) I can only leave a message and I dont receive a return call or I get a hang up. I quess he knows my numbers.

Please tell as many people as possible about this. No one should have this happen to them. We all work hard for our money. Dont buy any vacation package and be very careful selling your timeshare. Best wishes.
