Flotec worthless warrantee Delavan Wisconsin

Flotec sells water pumps in chain lumber supply stores. Two pumps I have sent back have had warrantee rejections. On the first pump, I cut off the plug to wire it directly. It worked for at least six months, then died. They rejected it because I cut the plug. The second rejection was a pump that died in about 8 months. They rejected it because it was used in a pond, and had dried algae on it.

I asked them why they sold pumps in Texas, if they didn't want them used in a pond? We have no basements in Texas, so it is obvious they would be used in ponds. They don't cover ponds if they have fish. That has no effect on pump function. Essentially, it is a worthless warrantee that looks good on the box exterior, but is of no real value when the product breaks down.
