Food Lover's Weight Loss System Just like to take your money, Internet

I ordered Food Lover's Weight Loss System in March of 2013 after seeing the infomercial. I knew is was going to cost $19.99 plus $19.99 shipping. There would be 5 payments of $19.99 remaining. All of this was very clear. You have 8 weeks from receipt of product to return the product at your expense of course. I tried the product for about 2 weeks(did not start right away from receiving product had to read through all of the material which was a lot and had to plan out things which took about 2 weeks) and found many inconsistencies between the at home product and their online version.

Such as making a fat loss plate. I would input the foods into the online version and it would say not a fat loss plate but I followed the at home version I ordered. I called the company and they stated that the online version is a lot more strict. So then if I never signed up for the online version and just the at home one then would it work? I was told yes which makes so sense. Keep in mind I signed up for the online version for 2 weeks free and thereafter they charged me 64.89 for 13 weeks. I ended up calling them again, just a side note I did call them several times in regards to the program and they were nice but I got tired of calling them because of the inconsistencies.

I called to cancel the program completely, and the gentleman was just okay as far as niceness goes. I also said I wanted to cancel the online version but was told that was non-refundable. I was surprised I said I only used the online system for about 2 weeks past the trial period and now I am going to loose a lot of money. I asked if they could give me back the the 11 weeks totaling $55 and they said they would give me back around $30 I said okay. Keep in mind I had to beg them to do this since it is against policy. I sent back the product with tracking and insurance just in case. I was told it would take 6-8 weeks to receive the 2 $19.99 payments and the$30 for the online version.

 Let's see if they really refund me all of the money. One last thing I looked at my credit card statement just recently and they charged me $59.99 and I was like why? I cancelled with this company. I called them and spoke to the same gentleman that helped me with cancelling and returning the product and he stated that was for the online coaching which is attached to when you sign up for the online version . I was not aware of this. Once my 2 week period ended they started to charge me for the coaching this charge occurred before I cancelled.

The one thing that upsets me is that the gentleman did not even let me know that I was also being charged for the online coaching while I was cancelling my online version. I find that odd that he did not mention it. I called and demanded the $59.99 be refunded to my credit card and that I would dispute this charge with my credit card company. Their policies are out of whack and do not please the customers. To charge 13 weeks in advance is not customer friendly because if you don't like the product anymore you are stuck. Maybe charging a monthly fee of $20 would make more sense. You have the ability to cancel and not lose so much money.

He stated it was non- refundable that I needed to cancel when the 2 weeks was up. I did not even know I signed up for it when I signed up for the online version. I never used it not even in the 2 week trial period. I feel that even after I cancelled they keep taking my money. Buyer beware of this company. I read everything, I mean everything before I sign up for things. To have these 2 things (online version and online coaching) attached to one another is ridiculous but then charge separately is also ridiculous. I lost in total of $60.26 and using it only for 2 weeks. I almost, lost an additional $59.99 for the online coaching. Just be prepared to call them a lot if you order this product.
