Stay out of Foot Locker and their subsidaries; Foot Action USA. These people are working a scam on the customers. They take your money and if the cheap sneakers don't fit or you don't like them, oh well, you are stuck with them.

We purchased a pair of sneakers cash. When we took the sneakers home to try them on we found that they really didn't fit. The next day we went to return the sneakers to get a cash refund as promised on the back of the receipt. (FootAction USA Promise) To give a refund or exchange on unworn merchandise within 30 days WITH a receipt. This is what they have writing. This should be legal and binding since it is in printed form. RIGHT!

After the cash purchase the employee put the receipt in the bag. We had notice that he had written words that couldn't be read clearly on the receipt. He wrote, "no return or exchange". Now why would he write that on our receipt? Why didn't he tell us this before he took our money? This way we could make the decision as to whether to complete this purchase. Then he told us that he couldn't give us a refund that we would have to contact the coporate office that was listed on the back of the receipt. 800-991-6682.

The horrendous ordeal that followed is going to make you think twice about purchasing sneakers from Foot Locker and their subsidaries. When we called this number, the customer service representative told us that they were experiencing a "Jordan" sneaker scam. We didn't purchase this brand we got Air Nike so what did this have to do with us getting a refund. She went on to tell us that we would have to mail the sneakers back to their NY corporate office and then they will mail us a check within 10 days. Hey, we paid cash.

We have contacted the BBB office and reported them. They stand firm on not giving us our cash back. Foot Locker/Foot Action USA should tell their customers upfront that they will not be able to get a cash refund and why.

I am sure that public America would think twice before they purchase anything from these RIP OFF artist.

If it is in writing then it is legal and binding. NOT so.

Try them on IN the store , walk around , get a feel if they fit . THEN hand over cash and feel confident in the purchase you have made.

Fake "jordans" and "Air Nike's" are out there and consumers who get taken on a pair sometimes try to take them back to the store to get the real deal . It happens , the store employees have to protect themselves because who do you think is going to pay if the take some fake Jordan's on return and give cash or new REAL Jordan's in exchange? the salesman making minimum wage thats who.

Next time try them on and if your buying "on sale" sneakers . remember the saying "you get what you paid for"

Good luck
