My husband and I bought a Ford F150 in 1998 brand new from Rozier Ford in Statesboro, Georgia. We took maticulous care of the truck. We have proof of all the oils changes, which occurred consistently every 3,000 to 4,000 miles along with tire rotations and balancing every other oil change. We also have proof of tune-ups on the truck. The engine has blown completely up!
It slung a rod and blew up with only 65,698 ORIGINAL miles on it! We have driven several USED Honda's in the 200,000 mile range and are EXTREMELY PISSED about this situation. I can't believe that you can purchase a NEW truck take care of it and the engine blow up with only 65,698 miles on it! I feel that Ford should replace the engine for FREE.
This is a RIP-OFF and WE will NEVER buy or even look at another FORD EVER AGAIN. As a matter of fact you could not give us a Ford for free. What a piece of junk. We will let anyone who will listen to our story what kind of product Ford if producing and trying to sell consumers. Please do not buy a Ford. You will fix or repair it daily or it will be found on the the road dead.
