I own a 98 ford F150 4x4,I only have 63000 miles and have allways had it serviced and maintaned. I receved a letter from Ford on 9/7/04 regarding the tierod ends to have them inspexted every 15000 miles rather than every 20000 miles. To my amasment on 9/08/04 the right inside one broke,I was driving straight and only 30 MPH thankfull for that. I went to the ford dealer and asked if there was a recall or one in the works and was told no of course. The letter was sent out only to cover there butts. Has anyone else had this problem ?
