My daugher, desperate for a car, went to Foremans Motors, found a car she could afford and liked.Down payment of $1,000,left lot, check engine light on,wipers dont work,is only small part we found wrong after we got it home.Called them, was told they did a 21 point check on it before it left lot but to bring it in  and they would check it out.3 days later she got it back, check engine light still comes on,day after, while driving,a/c quit and car completely shut down, smoking, wont start, cant even get in gear.Called them, they sent tow truck. At lot all they can say is they are shocked this happened. My daughter does not want the car, dont want to risk it,We asked for half of down payment back and surrender the car back to them and cancel contract. They say she is stuck with it regardless if she keeps or leaves the car.No refund on it.They say they will fix it under the warranty, which is 50/50.50% she will have to pay. This car hasnt even been driven by her more than 5 days since she got it,they had it for repairs. Why would they be able to sell a car that has so many problems the day of sale and not take it back.Places like this that rip women off need to be checked into.Just today after this I recieved info from at least 3-5 other women they done this to.This place needs to be looked into, please, dont let these kind of people get away with this.I know I wont let this go.

Foreman is the biggest scam

AUTHOR: Consumer one - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, October 19, 2012

They disconnect the sensor wires, they bang out any dents in the car and spin back the odometer. Foreman motors should be prosecuted and force to pay back all the money they stole from customers. I bought a car, I test drive it and everything was fine.. Pay for it and then the check engine light comes on.

Right when it came on I asked for my money back and they told me no I already signed the contract. Don't worry they will get theres. They are drug users and karma will catch up to his s**t wife. The funny thing is he was sleeping with one of his employees Christie .. He's going to sell somebody the wrong car one day and they are going to give him and his family hell. His sons will inherit. All his bad karma.

What pieces of trash.

You can't blame this on being a "woman" or...

AUTHOR: MovingForward - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 14, 2012

you will set women back 50 years! The real reason she can't return the vehicle is because she signed a contract. I assume she financed the balance of the purchase price based on your statement that she only put down $1000.   Returning the vehicle doesn't get rid of the car loan. It has to be paid off in order to extinguish the loan. She is an adult and I hope she didn't sign that contract without reading it. If she did, then your daughter will have to bear the consequences of signing before reading.

She can fix this situation. All she has to do is get the repairs done on the vehicle somewhere else at her expense. (From what I've read, Foreman Motors doesn't do a good job with repairs.) At least then she will have a working vehicle. Once she has paid down the loan enough to meet market value, then she can sell the car and pay off the loan if she wants to sell it. If she fails to pay off the loan it will hurt her credit for a long time.

To blame this fiasco on your daughter being a woman implies that women are defenseless against these types of car salesman tricks. We aren't defenseless and we certainly aren't stupid. The defense to this is reading before you sign. Help your daughter recognize that she could have prevented this entire ordeal, but don't bail her out of this one or she will continue to make these types of mistakes.

PS From other posts, it appears the Foreman Motors pulls this same trick on anyone that doesn't read the contract - male or female.
