Bad Service/ Unethical business practice Mitch will not give me my deposit of $1300 back. He booked my wedding date wrong and claims I called him and changed my wedding date. I have a contract that says my wedding date is June 23, 2012 and we have the Castlewood event center from 3:00pm 1:00am. We also book the catering service, limo, photographer, D.J,   tables, chairs liens; chair covers with bows, Table china, and serving staff. I also I booked everything around this location the church, Hotel accommodations for my guest and I. Cake service, Florist. 

My save the date magnets went out to my entire guest list, with location and wedding date. My formal invitations went out I booked florist and put deposit down on my wedding cake. I also set up hotel wedding block and sent all info to guest. Most all my family is from out of town they have booked plane tickets and booked hotel rooms.  Every was done and set for wedding date June 23, 2012. All I had to do is finish paying off Mitch, who was supposed to provide a service for me on my wedding day.

I called him to pay more down on our wedding service/ venue, Mitch asked me to put my wedding date June 16, 2012 on check. I advised him that he stated the wrong wedding date. And June 23, 2012 was my wedding date per our contract and my deposit check and all other verbal conversations. At that point he said he has me booked for the 16th of June and there is nothing he can do to change me back to our contracted date the 23rd of June, since there is another bride booked on that day.

I told him my family has already booked plane tickets & everything was already sent out for that date. My father was moving to Hawaii the following weekend for a military P.C.S move. Mitch asks me if my father has to be there for my wedding. At this point I was crying and getting upset. Then Mitch Wiggins offers me to move my wedding to Broomfield Colorado. I live in Colorado Springs and this is way too far and doesnt work at all. After a week of looking for another wedding venue in south Denver that was available on my wedding date I was unsuccessful so I stared to look for location in Colorado Springs.

Luckily I found one. I called Mitch on the 22nd of March and told him that I will not like to have my wedding with his service and I was told he would be getting my refund in the mail by the following Monday because his boss Mike is out of town for the weekend. I has been 3weeks and still not check. Ive have call 4-10 time and Mitch has failed to return any if my calls. On April 9th 2012, I called him again and again and again. I just want my money back and $200.00 for invitations I had to buy again .Thats it

it has hapened in most of the complaints   we operate many wedding venues  we allow many other companies use our facilities    this client changed her date we reserved it and have turned down many different possible bookings because of it  this date will now sit open and we will loose alot of money because of it      forever weddings is the booking agent not 303weddings  so i dont understand why we are being accused of the problem when we are the victom
