Fox Movers Horrible Moving Company! They Hire Ex-cons and Rapists! Chicago, Illinois

This was the worst experience of my life! I hired Fox Movers to move me on Saturday and they sent 3 street thugs to my home. One of the movers was a HUGE African-American guy who looked like he had just escaped from prison. His name was Darnell and he flirted with me throughout the entire move, saying things like Have you ever dated a black guy? and Once you go black, you never go back. It was disgusting. 

So I called Fox Movers and told them one of their men was hitting on me and I asked them to send another guy out to replace him because he was making me very uncomfortable. The woman on the phone (Ruby) said that Darnell flirts with all of their female clients and she called him harmless and said he wouldnt hurt a fly.  I told her I didnt like it. She told me to relax, then she called him on his cell phone and said something that made him very angry. For the rest of the move, he made threatening remarks about how much he hates snitches and he kept saying snitches get stitches. I was afraid, so I just tried to avoid him so they would just finish up and leave. Eventually they left.

I thought the nightmare was over, but no. At around 9:45PM that night, I hear a knock at my door. I assumed it was the doorman or security since I live on the 25th floor of a high-rise building. So I open the door and Darnell is standing there smiling. I was shocked. I said what are you doing here and he said I came to see you, sweet thing. I told him he should not have come back to my apartment and asked him to leave. He said he thought I was real sexy and said he just wanted to come in and have a drink with me. I told him I wasnt interested. Then he started telling me how much he liked my a**. I tried to close the door, but he stuck his foot in the way so I couldnt close it. We struggled a while and I started thinking he was going to force his way in and rape me. I was scared to death. My boyfriend was in Kentucky for his grandpas funeral, so I was here all alone. Luckily, my new next door neighbor got off the elevator and walked past my door. Darnell immediately backed up, I closed the door and he left.

I called Fox Movers the following day to complain and the same woman (Ruby) told me they are not responsible for what their employees do after hours. I could not believe it! I told her he tried came to my home late at night and made sexual advances. Ruby said I was blowing things out of proportion.

So Monday morning, I went to the police station and filed a police report. I wanted to press criminal charges, but the officer said they cant really charge him with anything since he didnt actually enter my apartment. So they had me file a restraining order that forbids Darnell from coming within 500 feet of my building. I felt like a battered woman! Theres no way I shouldve had to go through all of this just to get moved. Fox Movers is terrible!!! DO NOT USE THEM!
