Galvao Getaway owned by Frances Galvao Stole my money! Roach infestation at vacation rental! Madeira beach Florida

Miss Gross rented this property for her parents this year as well as last year. This is Florida Waterfront property. Her parents left the doors open during their 3 week and 3 day stay, when I was first notified of any roach problem. They had a 2 month lease. I responded to their complaint within 20 minutes of the phone call. I immediately ran to Home Depot and purchased combat roach traps and brought roach spray for the exterior of the property. This roach spray is from do-it-yourself exterminators on Seminole Blvd. I live 10 minutes from this property and I spray my exterior of my house with this. I have a golden retriever as well as an outdoor cat and two children, this spray is safe for animals and humans. The Gross family refused to allow me to spray, saying it was poison and could hurt their dog. I tried to explain this product is safe, that is why I bought it for my house. I am bewildered they needed to take such a drastic measure without allowing me to rectify the problem however as soon as I showed up Ms. Gross's sister was asking me how I was going to compensate her for her stay. I did not have any contract with this daughter and did not know she would also be staying with her husband. I sincerely believe they found a different place to stay since this unit is only a 2 bedroom and they had 5 adults at this point.They must have thought I would reimburse them. Like I said they had been staying for over 3 weeks before I ever heard a word. Possibly leaving the doors open and leaving dog food out may have brought any roaches inside. They are claiming the upstairs had a problem vut that is pure hearsay, my renters upstairs enjoyed their stay and never said a word other than to call on the day they left to thank me for a wonderful vacation. I am truely sorry if Ms. Gross feels a need to slander my name and reputation but I also understand sometimes you cannot make everyone happy. When I arrived 20 minutes after the call there was not a roach or roach carcass to be seen, her father tried to knock around the oven but to no avail. I am sorry they decided to move out the next day but I think this was their decision. To Ms. Gross's word that she would alert all possible media avenues if I did not refund her money she was true to her word.. Oh well..You can stay at my duplex and I'm sure you would have a fabulous time and never see any roaches..
