My Mercedes  300E air-condition is not working again after only one day since this shop fixed  electric module after replacing. The mechanic showed  malfunctioning  electric module is the  problem to get the cold air.  Air compressor test of pump was good, so  the expensive German electric module was replaced after a day.

The shop manager said it was a special delivery overnight, that's why  it costs a lot. But I don't believe it anymore.  They charged  full preon gas, service charge for system check, total of 800$. That was too much. I could be just around 400$, if it is fairly charged.

 Anyhow,I have driven to 1-10  freeway  enjoying a cool air for a long trip, however its  cold air stopped on the middle of the road suddenly just after 26 hours since they fixed the air condition. I have been already out of town far away  from Los Angeles, so I was not able to  stop by them again in order to argue with them. There was no guarantee, either.
To me, this is a rip off of too much charge service,and parts, using second-hand module  instead of replacing new one.  I feel they are cheating and dishonest to consumers. Why? The manager said bring the cash instead of credit card, even though I paid by credit card. They prefer customers to pay by cash. They might want to avoid the tax receipt, I guess. Because these peoples around this area do this practice commonly.

Normally if you use old used electric German module to replace in the Mercedes, it does not last for a few days, because it has been already very weak internally.  I used to have these experiences before many times. Therefore, according to owner's words, they ordered new one, but how can it last only one day?

Oh! Consumers! Come on, Do not go to this shop anymore. Their behavior of management is dishonest, not trustable, not fairly charged, even if electric mechanic is competitive. Owner and manager! They are horrible problem makers  in their practice of business toward to customers. Specially they rip off to female customers.
