I have no disagreements there. To me, my beliefs are very real, but I fully understand that to those who don't believe it, they appear hokey at best and unhinged at worst. But I don't feel they are any more so than other faiths, and I don't think you disagree with me there.

My issue in this case is whether or not Dantalion is what he says he is. I take Cthulu, a literary construct with no genuine followers to my knowedge, to be evidence that his 'work' is to pull the wool over people's eyes. Whether or not it works in theory is beside the point, and I do agree that it is a matter of personal will so it is certainly possible. But FD works hard to make the illusion of the creepy satanist on his page and more than Cthulu strikes me as suspect. The 'little of this, little of that' approach he takes to the powers he claims to call in combination with the somewhat forced 'aren't I really spooky' theme of his former site suggest a lack of seriousness I'd expect from your run-of-the-mill online scam. Cthulu is merely the obvious and inarguable smoking gun. You can't build a case off a gut feeling, so his likely inadvertent literary reference offered something to build a comment on.

Who knows, maybe he really is conjuring Cthulu in his spare time. I'm not a demonolator, nor do I believe it would work if he did believe it, so really I'm just here for the entertainment. FD has pretty much lost most of his credibility and probably his life as a free man at this point anyway.

My take is: a magician works in the realm of thought i.e. the world of imagination. Imaginary beings are imaginary. There is no such thing as a "real belief" unless you count social/majority acceptance as evidence: I do not. There are facts and the rest.

That Cthulu was a fictional creation of HP Lovecraft is totally and entirely undebatable. The modern Cthulu for President gorilla art campaign and the various other permutations are not genuine beliefs and never have been. They are tongue in cheek commentary on the absurdity of the modern world. They are no more a real belief system than Tolkien's Silmarillion. Lovecraft was a wonderful writer, but he was not in any way a preist of a forgotten religion, nor did he ever claim to be.

After reading all of this I went and checked this site.My conclusion is that without trying his services and doing a poll of ALL his customers one cannot conclude he is fake.

Going only by what he states on his site (apart from the RoR stuff), he is quite correct in his understanding of magic. It appears that he practices a brand of Chaos Magic or Goetia based magic going by what he has put on his site. The "Spirits of Netzach", Cthulhu, Yog-Sothoth, Aleister Crowley and so are all available in magickal literature.

The post I saw about "Cthulhu" being a fictional creation is debatable. Then again, even if it is true, magic is about mindplay i.e. plays on thoughts. If these beliefs are strong enough, it hardly matters whether it is based on fiction or not. Because the idea is to believe, it has less to do with what you believe in - it is the belief that matters more than the object of the belief. The vibes, it's all about raising the vibes and expectation coupled with proactive action.

I ordered work from frater dantalion a.k.a. black-magic-spells-co.uk on 10/04/08. He replied to my 1st 3 emails assuring me that my requests could indeed be completed regarding an ex. I paid and did not do anything but wait the 60 days like advised. Since I have contacted 3 times and recievec one reply on the 65 day mark in response to my 1st email. It stated that everything is ok and results would appear, just wait! Since the 1st email no replies. I contacted pay pal and they stated would have to dispute within 45 days. However I could still file a dispute but with no refund. Hint.....you must give the work 60 days!! This man to my knowledge is a fake! I wish I have read this sooner. I promise I am of nothing but a true customer in desperate times praying for a miracle. Please to anyone researching this site stay away. I know you still take the chance but don't with this man.

Wayne, I have no affiliation with any spellcaster site. The only reason I pursue Dantalion is because my friend Trae, who also has no relation to any spellcasting sites, has been slandered repeatedly by this man. All Trae ever did was contact Dantalion once to ask about how Dantalion made a particular connection between two spellcaster sites. The email he sent complimented Dantalion, and was only an attempt to gather more evidence against other spellcaster sites. The reason he gathers such evidence, which is quickly apparent from his page, is that he is a Wiccan and these sites perpetuate the various prejudices against his religious beliefs (and mine).

Dantalion, for no apparent reason whatsoever, turned on Trae, replacing Jens Johansen with Trae as his object of obsession and supposed perpetrator of all of the spellcaster scams. It's defamation of character unltimately and google results for Trae are turning up these RoR's, which reflects poorly on his own site. Now granted, his site is a personal site, and Trae has nothing to gain by having higher or lower traffic, but masses of reports calling him a scam ringleader are still not particularly good things to have tunring up high on a google results list for your name.

So that is why we post. I can't speak for the numerous others who have posted against Dantalion, but given the nature of his site, and his behaviour toward Trae, I'm inclined to believe at least some of it is from genuine dissatisfied customers of Dantalion.

I can't believe that you jerkwads are spending money buying "spells". Look, just send me the money. I'll go bay at the moon or whatever, and you can piss and moan when it doesn't work or send me a tip when it does.

As to the head witch/sorcerer/black magic dude, he's found a way to make money off of cretins. Cretins are WAY too stupid to have money, and therefore it should be legal to take it from them.

What fascinates me after reading all about Dantalion on Rip Off is you people (or one person if Dantalion is to be believed) are obsessed with him, don't you have any kind of life? It would cost too much to sue him, and I doubt very much if he cares. How are you going to prove his spell didn't work? Perhaps you broke the spell yourself? Who knows? Who cares?

These postings are probably by the same person determined to drive Dantalion off the Internet, they all have the same aggressive, excited style - I smell a rat, and suspect it is the handiwork of a competitor.

I cannot say if he's real or not, but anyone with half a brain can see you are bullshitting, or very stupid.
