Never Again! Fred Loya is a corrupt, crooked, lying, theiving company if there ever was one! I think Enron was more honest then these guys. We bought our insurance about a year ago and ever since then we have been told nothing but lies and empty promises.

I was 19 at the time that we got with Fred Loya. It was my father, my sister, and me. We walked in and where impressed with their "no down payment" and as "little as $49" a month. The lady was kind and took pictures of the cars. then came the paperwork.

We signed what seemed like a 20 pages. Then she said, "Ok, now I need the down payment." I ended up paying $500 to start (August 15) and then had to make the monthly payments of $371 (August 27). it all s****.> About 10 months later, i was involved in a small fender-bender. to make a long story short. i clipped the back bumper of the car infront of me. and to make matters worse. the other driver wanted to settle things outside the insurance. i said no then they refused to show me their insurance info or drivers license. they gave a phone number and a name and left before I could call the police to get a report. a couple of days later I recieved a call from Fred Loya asking about the accident and I told them everything that happened. i even explained that I had pictures. the rep told me that they could contact me with more info later and would let me know if anything changed on our policy. they never did. again phone calls failed.

Forward 3 months later. Im looking through my bank statements and noticed the Fred Loya payment. it had jumped from $371 all the way to $560! I went to the office and they told me that they paid the other driver. I asked why didnt they inform me about the price change and he mumbled something and pretended to type on the computer. I started telling him about how badly we have been treated by them. and he said "sorry" and offered to give us some calendars as compensation. I said that I didnt want to do business with them anymore and he said " we're one of the cheapest and good luck finding someone else to cover you, especially with the accident on your record" I stormed out of there. I have never been treated that rudely by anyone in my life.

they claim to help the hispanic community by offering insurance to those without drivers license and papers. and all the meanwhile they are ripping them off without mercy. well they arent messing around with just another wetback. those people might not be able to stand up for themselves but I will.

Be thankful you don't have insurance with them anymore. I'm embarrassed to admit I worked there, where adjusters are forced to low ball claim payments so management can get their bonuses at the end of the year. That's unethical as well as illegal. Only a matter of time before the adjusters get busted; as well as the company. Am currently working with TX Dept of Ins for unfair claims practices. I have documentation, notes, as well as other exemployees willing to testify against them due to their unfair claims practices. Terrible, horrible company! I am so glad to be out of there; I love my job no. No stress & I can sleep at night.
