When a close friend of mine graduated college he decided to become a real estate agent. He turned to his long time girlfriend's father ( Fred Myer ) for advice. Fred aka Farhad (being an experienced real estate agent at coldwell banker Calabasas) became his mentor. Shortly after working with Fred they entered into a verbal agreement which adhered to all standards of the Coldwell Banker mentorship policy.

Fred insisted on forfeiting his mentorship commission on the first two deals procured by my friend. The first deal procured by my friend, Fred held true to the agreement. The second much larger deal however, he did not. Fred ignored my friend and when he was confronted, Fred verbally harassed him.

After being "ripped off" I advised my friend to seek legal advice. The day after Fred received a letter from an attorney urging him to settle the matter, he wrote a bogus article tarnishing my friends name on this very website. In order to avoid any further libel, my friend has stayed silent, which I disagree with. This is the exact reason this website was created. 

The reason I am writing this article is to shed light on the wrongful actions of  a mentor and real estate agent. I've personally known Fred a very long time and I was deeply saddened and even more shocked by his actions. To see my friend, a very hard working young man, get taken advantage of by someone who he very deeply admired and respected is truly unforgivable. What makes it so shocking is that Fred has always appeared to be a very kind gentleman. Fred I urge you to stop telling lies about my friend, I'll stop telling the truth about you.
