I like many others have been victimized by the company FREE LOTTO and sweepstake company out of Lexington NY
who sends us emails stating that we are the winners of a prize amount of $1,000,000 to $10,000,000 and that my status is pending. I have kept over five hundred emails sent to me by the company URGING me to responded when I joined the sight back in February of last year (maybe prior to that date). I responded and joined the site and when the company did not yield to their promise I wrote them. They gave me the run around, sent me to other sites but never answered my questions about the millions. I continued to play at a cost of $9.95 months in hopes that the company would continue to hold the millions of dollars promised to me. The made me feel as though I should continue to play because the millions were indeed mine to have. They called it STATUS PENDING.... and then they'd send me emails saying that my prize was unclaimed or if it were unclaimed
by a certain due date then my prize would be forfeited. I made claim to all of monies promised to me but all I was presented with was another chance to pay them another $9.95. I eventually grew tired of seeing them post the list of people that had already been paid their millions and not getting mine. So I decided to cancel the account. Only when I cancelled they kept billing my
account $9.95. I wrote the company many times asking them why they continued to bill me after cancelling and I got no response just a letter stating that my millions were still pending and all I had to do was long onto the site and claim them.
It was a vicious circle that had no end. Today I decided to log on to the BBB and file a claims only most of the claims result in an unsatifactory
settlement for those victimized. The BBB cannot sue Free Lotto but you can! The should have to pay all the people they issued emails to stating that they
have millions pending to them. They've even sent me 'facsimile checks' in the amount of 10,000,000 (to my email) stating all that I had to do was claim it.
And I like many others are extremely hurt by the claims made by free lotto when spend what little money that we have in order gain a good outlook on life and our future and they take from us. They should be sued and closed down permanently! Do we have a case? False Advertising!
I'd also like to add that the company was very convincing and explicit in their post to my email. I was a believer and I got scammed!

Complaints to the BBB indicate that PlasmaNet, Inc. sends notification via mail and e-mail solicitations to consumers stating that they have won a sweepstakes or lottery but consumers do not receive payment of their winnings. Upon contacting the company to retrieve their winnings, consumers state that they are denied their prize unless they sign up and pay for a subscription on the companys website at www.freelotto.com. After signing up consumers are told that they are not a winner either because their notification letter is only a promotion or because their pin number on their award letter is invalid. Consumers also report that PlasmaNet has made unauthorized withdrawals from their bank accounts and that they have difficulty canceling subscriptions.

In October, 2006, the BBB sent correspondence to this firm regarding its advertising practices. Consumers claim that they receive correspondence stating that they have won the lottery. Free Lotto has not fully addressed the issue.
