Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

Promosoft markets their Free Registry Fix program with a free computer scan. This scan will show that you have a significant amount of registry errors. In my case, over 1500 errors. When you purchase the program to remove errors, it does the scan again (before fixing anything) and only showed 4 errors. Interesting!

Promosoft will not provide a customer service number. The only contact is via email or their live chat. I emailed to request a refund with no response from Promosoft.

I then used their live chat service and this is the record of communication;

ST84171234: I copied and pated this convrsation to show what kind of customer service Promosoft has. It's garbage just like the product they fraudulantly market!

As you can see, they were not any help and I NEVER received an email from Promosoft.

Promosoft blames customer

 WOW! Blame the customer. For your information, I did follow your refund procedure. Your company ignored it until I was relentless with your Live Chat Service. You have a click for REFUND tab....hmmm, what other procedure do you have?

 Got to love your excuse for NOT having a contact phone number, 'you can't provide this service for free'. You mentioned that your Live Chat Service has people that are Microsoft Certified. Learn something else from Microsoft, they have a customer service number and it's FREE! Also, 411 doesn't have a listing for the address you provide on your receipt! They don't have a listing for Promosoft ANYWHERE!

 My problem is that your Free Scan cannot be removed from my computer. It popped up with the paid scan EVERYTIME and always comes up with different error results. To this day it scans and shows over 11,000 errors. How can that be when the PAID scan will show only a handful when it scans simultaneously? FRAUD!

 I finally received an email from Promosoft on Jan. 15, 2010 that said my refund request is accepted. It stated that it would take 3 days to process. You also said in  your rebuttal that my refund has been processed. It's Jan. 23, 2010 today, my bank has NO record of the refund!

My tone was condenscending to your techs at the Live Chat Service? How about being told to be patient way too many times and not addressing my problem. They just kept saying that Promosoft will contact me by email within 48 hrs. It took a fricken month to get an email from you and thats ONLY because I kept contacting your Live Chat Service complaining.

Your company is a JOKE! Your product does not do what it's suppose to do, your customer service is ridiculous and you blame the customer for problems. Never in my 43 years of life have I dealt with a company like yours!

Dear Richard,

The terms of our license agreement state that we will fix any pc problem or your money back. The standard policy is to utilize the Microsoft Certified Remote Service to ensure your PC is left in the same state that you had it before utilising the product. It is impossible for the software fixer to find lesser problems than the free version. The only difference is one has automated fixes and the free version has these restricted to 100 but you can manually delete all of your errors for free, that is why it is called Free Registry Fix. The world's only true 100% free registry cleaning software.

Unfortunately the tonality of your conversation with an employee of Promosoft who was there to help you was very condescending and he answered your question. You were talking to Colin, a Microsoft Certified Engineer with Promosoft for over 7 years.

Your problem was that Promosot Corporation was a fraudulent company - not a PC problem for which the Microsoft Certified Engineer is employed to solve, but an oppinionted problem with the company. Having been in business since 2002 and serving well in excess of 1.4 million active serving customers I think we would have been well out of business if this was the case.

You have contacted the engineers on a number of occassions and have not followed the correct procedure for appyling for a refund, if you were dissatisifed with the service and that was what you were looking for, you could have politely requested that, instead of abusing these wonderful guys and girls who have for many years now devoted themselves to their work and the clients of Free Registry Fix and Promosoft Corporation. Sending an email for a refund is not our policy for refund and we honour all requests for refunds every Friday amd through the appropriate simple channel of competing our online form and request for a refund.

Your refund has been processed today. Please refrain from abusing our agents as a paying technical support solution having once again trying to abuse staff that is there to help you or guide you as to policy with fixing PC problems.

You Return ID is 25570704645 and your money has been refunded 100%, the process could have been expediated by following procedure and not tring to abuse any of the agents that are there to help customers.

In the past we have offered phone service and may offer it in the future. Under the margins we are operating it is not possible to deliver a premium quality voice support service for free.

Many Thanks for your custom and we apologize for not meeting your expectations when you purchased the product.
