I am a small business owner and as business owner, i do my best to keep my profits high and expenses down. Few days back I got a voice mail from this person called Steve and left VM from company known as FreedomComputerProducts. Also I recieved three emails from him stating that he can provide cheaper price for the same products available the market plus an incentive of gift card to use for personal.

After inquring the product pricing, his pricing were twice as high as available online. Since I am the owner of the company there is no charm to do business to pay double the cost for mere $100 gift card. 

Such incentives may work for those who are employee of the company. As they end up taking Gift Card bribes for their personal use rather for the company.

If you are an employee be sure such charm of Gift card can get you fire from the company along with an explaination from IRS.

I have been one of Steve's vendors for over 15 years. We go back when he was an employee, then independent contractor, and now the owner of his company for two years. We have had nothing but an honest, professional relationship. I can assure ANYONE, that he knows this industry like the back of his hand. The customer base that Steve has is very large and impressive with constant reorders from multiple newspaper and medical facility customers for many years. 

The difference between China/Mexico made/refills sub-standard quality vs the USA made compatibles is very obvious based on the defect/return rate. And that is the case with most other vendors as well. This person did this RipOff Report based on email replies and blatantly lying about paying $21.00 each for HP CE505A OEM toners? Why couldn't he have just been honest about using refills, not wasted time, and above all, Not Do This Disgraceful Act!!

I've been doing business with Steve for over a decade now and never had any problems. Originally I was ordering cases of HP toner cartridges to get the volume discount, but when I needed a mixed bag of 1's and 2's, Steve worked the pricing out for me much to my surprise. All of the toner cartridges performed beautifully for all the different printers. I shopped around and went through several other suppliers, but always ended up calling Steve after the others failed to deliver the service or prices I'd gotten used to. Brother toner was another item that I couldn't find anyone that could compete with Steve's pricing.

When I needed barcode printer ribbons but didn't know what kind or size, Steve got me samples to play with so I could figure out which one would be right for the project before I placed my order. Then when corporate finally approved the PO, I needed the ribbons immediately. I called Steve after 5pm Eastern time and he still managed to get me a case out overnight. I'm not sure how, but I was very happy for the excellent customer service.
 
Gift card? Those are a new addition to the excellent prices Steve has always given. Just shows he's keeping up with the times. Is there still a company that isn't giving some kind of loyalty reward?

Freedom Computer Products is Legitimate

 I have been a customer of Freedom Computer Products for some time now.  As a purchaser for a medical facility Steve has treated me fairly and his products are of the utmost superiority.  The products I have purchased have lasted as long as new bought products and I am extremely satisfied with the business agreement between our clinic and Freedom Computer Products.  Steve has the right pricing, quality and service and I am completely satisfied with his products and service.

 I have been dealing with Steve and his company now for 5 years and have never had any problems. He always  gives me a good and fair price, and the product is the same or better than the large office suppliers. The product is delivered next day and I have never had any problems with the product or the price.

The person who posted this ripoff report doesn't seem to be very professional.

Rebuttal to Mike-FL

This second RipOff Report looks very much like the first one done by Farhat Ali.  I can tell by the broken/English as a 2nd language emails. No identity or anything specific, and we obviously never did business. It really does take Dishonesty and 
Stupidity to a Whole New Level!!
 
Almost a Carbon Copy of the first RipOff Report done with the same lies and different one's. It's easy to see the same wording used in the same way, with the same obsession with Bribes, Charm, High Prices etc. So I could tell this person has some kind of agenda or vendetta, based on stooping so low with the Dishonesty/Stupidity on the gift card being
a Bribe! Any employee or employer who happens to be Smart and Honest would understand my Very Simple Concept.
 
Here's how brutally honest, smart, and generous I am to my customers for many years, some being business managers and owners. I have multiple suppliers having all the name brands and options. I've known some for over 15 years with very good relationships and very low costs.
 
I have no cubicles, clerical, sales reps, or office space. So my lack of overhead and connections with the lowest costs, give me a way to be very generous to Smart Honest People.
 
My customers in the beginning simply gave me their "Real Price" they were paying for their specific inks and toners.(honest about re-fills!) I systematically shaved off 30% of the price, then whatever the total of the invoice is, the employee would get a 15% gift card tip. Could ANY Reasonable person with Common Sense, label this a Bribe?? So Mike, or Farhat, or whatever your Real Name is, someone who does a despicable act of Stupidity and Dishonesty of putting a RipOff Report based on emails, without any identity, claiming that I charge double??  And stooping even LOWER by trying to Scare or make Feel Guilty my customers about gift cards?
 
The difference between You and Them(some are business managers & owners) is that they are Smart and Honest with words and actions. They don't lie about paying for re-fills and getting OEM's.
 
Your pathetic attempt to dis-credit my reputation with lies and stupidity, will be answered by my long term relationships with medical facility and newspaper customers for many years. I have the identity of the person and company(one month old)that did the first RipOff Report and anyone viewing both, it's very obvious to see the truth. So I hope all of the time wasting and destruction with dishonesty is over.

 I have been ordering supplies for Steve for years.  He has always been less expensive then my other suppliers, i.e. Staples, WB Mason etc. He gets the order out to me next day and is extraordinarily responsive.  Trust me when I tell you this guy does NOT belong on this site.  I go through a lot of product at 3 different locations and I am yet to have  a complaint.
