Freedom Lists, llc emails track.com Bad email prospect list, failed to complete email campaign , Internet

My boss was contacted by Robert White of Freedom List.  He provided him with a sample of email prospects that were third party verified and could be used for our marketing purposes.  My boss passed this information onto me.  I reviewed the list, reviewed website, googled to see if there was any bad press regarding this company - and didn't find any.

We proceeded to purchase a robust list of prospects from this company.  We were pleased with the list, but when we tried to complete our own email blast, the numbers were too large for our service to send at one time.  So we went back to Freedom List and asked for a quote to have them complete.

Robert supplied us with a quote that was reasonable in price and we paid for a 5 email campaign with tracking details.

However, this is where things fall apart.  The email blast was scheduled for a Tuesday, and 56,000 contacts were to be sent our information.  After the first day, only about 500 emails had been opened, and of those, none of the companies were ligitimate companys from our list.

For almost three weeks i tried to be patient and work through these "server/sending" issues - only to say finally, enough is enough, and request a refund.  At that time - their phone number got shut off, the other number goes immediately to voice mail.  The tracking program is non-functional.  And this company will not return any of my calls or emails.

i now have to pursue them legally to get our funds back, if possible.  SCAM!!
