Today 08-13-08 I signed up with for and autoresponder service and Lead program supposedly for 1.00 now and on 08-20-08 19.95. This company
debited my account for two charges one for a 1.00 and one for 19.95 which was deducted from my account 08-13-08. I e-mailed them 5 times, claimed they only took dollar, could not refund. Gave info they debited my account under D&S Enterprises, also goes by ShopOneGoldBar.

I am afraid they will try to debit my account again on the 20th, so I have called my bank to dispute the charges, and not to accept any debits from these companies, I e-mailed them to cancel, but who knows. The e-mail I got originly was from I can not find any phone for these people. I never got my leads or autoresponder as promised either. I believe this company or companies are a scam, so beware of these companies.

Misleading is as bad as lying

I can see how the original poster of this complaint was suckered in, as I was almost suckered in as well. They tell you It's just $1.00 and to "not worry", as there are "NO HIDDEN FEES" and that it's normally $29.00 upfront with a reoccurring fee of $19.95, but, "hurry, today only we will waive all that and you can have it all for $1.00" (in so many words) They are not transparent and they word it in such a way that you are getting the whole shebang for only $1.00 with nothing else to worry about, ever...they count on majority of the population not taking into consideration that they aren't really waiving the reoccuring fee of $19.95 at all, just the one time payment of $29.00 and to me, that's just as bad as lying. I feel for the man that fell for it and I'm glad I came to Ripoff Report to help me dig a little further. Shame.

Inaccurate Report from Customer

We are the owners of D&S Enterprises, and, the 3 companies mentioned in this customer's report. It should be noted that ShopOneGoldBar is simply a shopping cart interface which our company uses to process our orders.

On 8/13/08, Wayne, signed up for a FREE autoresponder account with He states in his complaint that he never received his autoresponder. There is nothing to receive. You simply sign up for the account and proceed to log in to the service with the username/password that you select when you register.

Following the registration for the account, members are directed to a "thank you" page presenting them with a special offer to try Viral for $1.00. This gives them a 7-day trial after which they are charged a monthly fee of $19.95 per month. They may cancel at any time. Wayne ordered this offer and paid $1.00 with his credit/debit card. When a new customer signs up, our billing system runs an "authorization" for the 1st monthly fee of $19.95. This is simply an authorization, NOT a charge. The customer is NOT charged $19.95 until after the 7-day trial. If they cancel during the 7-day trial, they are never charged $19.95 and the authorization is automatically removed.

Before Wayne's membership details could be entered into our system, just a few hours after he signed up on 8/13/08, he emailed us and indicated that we had charged him $1.00 AND $19.95 and they he wished to cancel and receive a credit immediately.

We responded to his email letting him know that he had only been charged $1.00 and that the $19.95 was simply an authorization and would not be deducted from his account until 8/20/08. He did not seem to understand this. After several emails, we told him that we would cancel his membership and that he needed to contact his bank.

Wayne states in his complaint that he "never received his autoresponder or leads".
Well he never received his membership because it was CANCELLED per his request!

Copies of all correspondence with Wayne are below.

On 8/13/08, we cancelled Wayne's membership, voided the $1.00 charge and he was NEVER charged $19.95. See copies of the voided $1.00 charge below.

We would like to ask Wayne to come back here and submit proof that he was ever actually charged $1.00 or $19.95. He was charged NOTHING.

It should also be noted that Wayne has done business with us before on 3 different occassions. 2 of the orders were for software and resell rights products which are downloaded immediately following the order. Wayne emailed us and indicated he never received his download. We emailed him the download link. He responded and wanted a refund claiming that both products "locked his computer up" and that he wanted to cancel the orders.

We promptly issued refunds for both even though both products have a "no refund" policy due to the fact that they are delivered via digital download and cannot be "returned".

We would be happy to provide copies of our email correspondence with Wayne confirming the above as well.
