I already used ripoff for another case and we ended putting the guy in jail. Again thank you ripof. This case is much smaller but needs to be filed. This Frenchtv company provides French Tv channels. Their customer service is horrible and I will say inexistant. But the problem on top of this we got was purely a fraud.As we needed to cancel our subscription we asked them what to do. We got an emai of Brian Grosjean asking to return the box at:

We did so and the box arrived on time May 18 2016. So we were peaceful.But on May 27 I saw they debited my account of $64. So I wrote an email asking for clarifications. He wrote back saying they do not want to reimburse the deposit as an ethernet cable was missing ( and I proposed them straight away to send one) and they charged us $64 for June as the box arrived too late.
Only name I got is Brian Grosjeanand and he does not answer anymore my emails. I will call the company on Tuesday and try to have a manager on the phone if there is one. May be we should send immigration to their office as it does not look like a real company. I wonder how they can do business in the states. Thanks god I was able to go to app.bill.com to delete my account information

Frenchtv fraud

Thank you so much ripoff.com. It worked. They take my money and am the guy who is not honest? As every body will see in French and in English they did not give back my deposit and charged me for the month of June saying that I was in Auto pay. I HAVE NEVER BEEN IN AUTO PAY. i went on bill.com and that I was not. i removed all my account information and i hope it really did it. i wrote to my bank to disput this charge and ask to deny any debit from this company. I am afraid this company try again to charge me.  They deducted me the amount without my consent and this is why I want to fignt. It is a fear to my asset. Can anybody pull money from my account without my consent? I do not think so. For the deposit there is still  no answer from frenchtv to tell me if I can get it back if I send this cable of $5 to get back my $79.

As you can read from their emails they have no customer service. By the way this company is called Frenchtv, their website is www.frenchtv.to (island kingdom of Tonga), the billing is from live streaming llc 2336 se ocean blvd, #121, Stuart, FL, 34996 and their telephone (571) 308-8019 from Arlington VA! Their box return is from Miami. if somebody can tell me where are these guy's really in the world I would appreciate. And they are doing on top of this business in the US?

They are threatening me to take me to justice. i will love it. But which one? If it is in Tonga, they will have to pay me the trip I hope. This company have at my sense no legitimate reason to do business in my countrry.

Client is not honest

First of all client lie. We never say that we wont refund him for the month that has been charge, but we did explain him why. He was the one that have the payment in automatic. We request every client to return the rented device 10 days before to be able to cancel all charge, client didnt respect it.

We never say we wont refund that month, but now we will let the court decide because he wrote false accusation against us that is not correct.

 

First email of the client was on May 28 ( saturday ) we reply him the same day he send us back a blackmail email ( entire copy bellow in French ) and Monday May 30 ( national holliday, Memorial day ) because he didnt get a replay on his blackmail email he decide to file a complain on ripoff.

 

Client say on ripoff we stop give him answer, responce in less than 24 hours ( exept sunday and hollydays ) is more than correct. Most billing department take longer than that to answer. One more lie from the client.

 

As for the security deposit, before he decide to cancel the renting, we sent him an email to inform him that if it was missing something, he will loose the security deposit ! ( that's the reason we request a security deposit ). He admit that he didnt sent everything back but he was not happy to loose the security deposit. Client knew about it he just didn't want to follow the rules.

Pour Les remboursement de depot de garantie sont fait sous 90 jours ouvrables, mais nous n’avons pas reçus le cable ethernet donc le depot de garantie est perdu.

You were debit, and you chose in your account bill.com be take before the maximum date. We ask the customer to send us the box 10 days before the scheduled date of withdrawal so we can suspend the levy. We Receipts your box May 18 or 9 days before that will not allow us to stop the levy in question was done on May 27
 
For the security deposit, tell advertise in our email of 9 May to 2h24pm:
 
To your termination to take effect it is imperative to return to its original packing the French TV box and all the accessories. The lack of an accessory, causes the loss of the deposit.
 
 
To Refund Guarantee deposit is made within 90 working days, but we have not received the ethernet cable so the security deposit is lost.

Eh oui nous avons votre nom.  J'ai bien lu avec toute mon attention l'email que vous avez envoye a ma femme.  Voici donc notre reponse. Je n'ai jamais eu de prelevemens automatiques. J'ai toujours recu une email me demandant de" scheduler" mon payement. Ce payement se faisait toujours debut de mois le 1 ou 2 suivant que le 1 etait un dimanche ou non. J'ai toutes les preuves de ces payements sur mon releve bancaire que je peux fournir comme preuves.
 
Deuxiement j'ai peut etre oublie de mettre ce cable ethernet car c'est vrai j'utilisais wifi. Mais des cables ethernet j'en ai plusieurs car je suis un IT engineer Alors lequel voulez-vous, 10 feet, 25 feet, blanc, bleu, roge ....Dans tous les cas ce cable ne coute certainement pas les $79 de depot de guarantie que vous ne voulez pas me rendre. Est-ce comme au Casino: "vous avez joue, vous avez perdu" ou alors puis renvoyer ce cable et vous me rembourserez. Par ailleurs dans une de vos emails prescedentes vous auriez pu me donner la liste des elements a rendre, on aurait gagne du temps.
 
Maintenant Monsieur Grosjean petmettez moi de vous dire que je n'apprecie pas, mais alors pas du tout vos methodes commerciales. Certes je peux perdre $143 mais sachez que je ferais tout en mon pouvoir pour que justice sois faite, Tout d'abord vous venez de perdre a jamais un de vos client: moi. J'avais l'intention a mon retour d'Espagne de reprendre Frentv mais vu les circonstances, jamais plus. Nous vons ete un des premiers clients et si Nicolas travaille toujours chez vous, il pourra vous dire , combien nous avons ete concilianst et gentils avec tous les problemes que nous avons rencontres dans vos debuts difficiles.
 
Ensuite si dans les 2 jours je n'ai pas gain de cause, je vais envoyre votre email et une explication a l'alliance Francaise d'Arizona et de Californie. Je vais aussi ecrire aux differents Consuls et surtout M Lemoine en Californie et leut demander de prevenir nos compatriotes.Je vais aussi contacter French District, le magazine de Californie pour qu'ils puissent mettre un article sur vous. Ils sont tres friands de cela vous verrez.
Et pour finir je vais demander a Frederique Lefebvre, notre depute que je connais tres personnellement, de faire ce qu'il peut, lui malheureusement pas grand chosr car il se prepare aux elections presidentielles mais certainemnt un de ses assisttants pourra faire quelquechose et vous signaler aux compatriotes du Canada et des US.
 
Sachez que ce ne sont pas des paroles a la legere. Nous sommes des gens honetes mais nous ne laissons pas faire. De plus a mon retour d'Espagne je residerai donc en Floride et je pense que je trouverai d'ici la votre adreasae pour angager des poursuites legales,  ou venir en personne vous dire ce que je pense de vos manieres.

Yes we have your name. I read all my attention with the email you sent to my wife. Here is our answer. I've never had automatic prelevemens. I have always received an email asking me to "scheduler" my payment. This payment was always the beginning of the month 1 or 2 depending on whether the 1 was a Sunday or not. I have all the evidence of these payments on my bank statement that I can provide such evidence.
 
Secondly I can be to forget this ethernet cable because it's true I used wifi. But the ethernet cable I have several because I am an IT engineer So which do you want, 10 feet, 25 feet, white, blue, roge .... In any case this cable certainly not cost the $ 79 deposit Warranty of you do not want to go. Is it like the Casino, "you play, you lost" or so and then return the cable and you repay me. Also in one of your emails prescedentes you could give me a list of the elements make it, it would save time.
 
Now Mr. Grosjean petmettez me tell you that I do not appreciate, but then not at all your marketing methods. Certainly I can lose $ 143 but know that I would do everything in my power so that justice be done, First of all you just lost never has one of your customer: me. I was planning my return to Spain to resume Frentv but given the circumstances, never more. We Vons was one of the first customers and if Nicolas always been with you, he will tell you how much we have been concilianst and kind to all the problems we have meetings in your difficult beginnings.
 
Then within 2 days if I did not succeed, I will envoyre your email and an explanation to the Alliance Francaise of Arizona and California. I will also write to the various Consuls and especially M Lemoine California and ask leut to prevent our compatriotes.Je will also contact French District, the California magazine so they can put an article on you. They are very fond of it you will see.
And finally I will ask Frederique Lefebvre, our MP I know very personally, to do what he may, it unfortunately chosr great as it prepares for presidential elections but certainemnt one of his assisttants can do something and you report to compatriots in Canada and the US.
 
Know that these are not words lightly. We are honetes people but we will not let it. Also on my return to Spain I will dwell in Florida and so I think I'll find by the adreasae for your angager of Legal proceedings or come in person to tell you what I think of your ways.
