To all who want to read, have enperience in this matter or want to learn from others. I am a normal consumer that enjoys the speed and convience of the internet and it's tools, including online bill pay and shopping online. Unfortunately, not all online companies comply with their agreements on contracts with their consumers.

This is my second and last experience with another online company that has not complied with their agreement. I have tried to cancel with this company since Janurary, but have not recieved a return call or email from them.

Upon clicking the box on the agreement between frontierpharmacies.com and myself, it was noted that if the company could not fulfill the oblications of the order, that they were only going to retrieve a ONE time fee of $19.95, which sounds great, until you recieve your statements from the bank and they include another $20.95 charge to you account every month, around the same time.

I guess they have a strict policy on, if you don't suceed the first time, try, try again?? In this case they might want to redo their company policy because I have filed a claim with my bank, canceled my credit card/ATM card, and am forwarding the email I wrote to them this morning, to a good friend of mine that works for the local news paper.

I wish I knew about this website (ripoffreport.com), before I became a victim of FrontierPharmacy, but at least now I can contribute to helping others become aware of internet fraud and help them fight preditars like Wendy Mingle and Keene Corporations. I will say that although I am going through this horrible ordeal, it will not scare me away from my daily activities and online searches for great consumer deals, but I will be sure to visit more sites like ripoffreport.com or badbusinessbureau.com, so I can have more knowledge of the company that I am sending precious information to.

PS Upon visiting their site, they have a trade seal at the bottome of their webpage that give the pharmacies liscense number, as well as the pharmacists liscense number. These are very important pieces of information if you are wanting to report them the the Florida State Board of Pharmacy. FDA does not handle internet fraud cases, only the case pertaining to selling fraudulant drugs, prescriptions that are labeled "whatever", but you recieved a placebo or worse, but in our case, none of us even recieved a single thing!! Guess Wendy can avoid the FDA, for now!

EDitor's Suggestions on how to get your money back!

HERE IS WHAT RIP-OFF REPORT SUGGESTS YOU DO:

Go to your bank within 60 days of the charge, or as soon as you know about the charge, don't delay, and tell them that there has been fraudulent activity within your account. Explain that you wish to file a dispute, and demand that they assist you in accordance with Federal Regulation E.

According to the majority of victims interviewed by Rip-off Report, those who immediately called their banks to dispute the charges did not get very far. Many victims got the following responses from their banks: we could not do anything for you or you waited too long; it has been more than 60 days.

If the bank is says that you have waited too long, explain to them how you called their 800 number as soon as the charges were found, and were told by the bank that nothing could be done. Remind the bank that they failed to assist you properly at the 800 #, and instead, provided you with an inadequate explanation of your right to dispute. Tell the bank that it's their fault time has expired, and since they gave you the wrong info to begin with, they will just have to deal with it, take the loss and reverse the charges.

Tell them the truth; this was unauthorized and your account was NOT to be charged! Keep emphasizing how you never authorized anything! Direct them to the hundreds of victims reports that were filed on Rip-off Report.com. And if you're at the bank, walk them over to their computer and make them go to this site! If you are on the phone with them, tell them you will wait while they access this site! Either way, be persistent!

DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!

Let them know nicely, that you were advised to Report them (the Bank) and this situation to the Banking Commission in your state. Since each state has a different name for the agency/controller over banks, find that name before you call or get to the bank so you can throw it in their face. The more knowledgeable you appear to be, the further you will get.

And just continue to demand the Federal Regulation E form! The bank CAN, MUST and WILL reverse the charge! But, you must be persistent; ask to speak to the supervisor or the area manager for all the branches in the state.

Let the bank personnel know you are meeting with the media later in the day, that you would much rather they do the right thing (as most other banks have) by looking at the complaints and immediately reversing the charge(s) to your account; no matter how long ago it was. Be sure to call the Media if necessary so you are telling the truth.

If you have to, be loud (but nice) in front of other customers. If you are just calling by phone, the above tactics should still work. The bank can easily fax or mail to you the Federal Regulation E dispute form.

CHARGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD

If the charge was to your credit card (not debit card, check card, or checking account), contact the credit card company as soon as possible to request a dispute form. Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away. In this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge. In rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here.

Remember Don't let them get away with it! Make sure they make the Rip-off Report .. The more Reports filed on a Company or individual, the more likely it is that the authorities, media and attorneys will want to take action.

And good luck Let us know how you do!

Frontier Pharmacies - No Online Consultations or Physicians. Rx must be provided as required by U.S. Law.

AUTHOR: Denise - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 04, 2006

To Whom It May Concern:

Contrary to what this customer states in her complaint, Frontier Pharmacies DOES NOT have reoccurring monthly fees.

Frontier Pharmacies is a Florida licensed and Square Trade Approved mail order pharmacy. All prescriptions received, are first verified for authenticity, making sure that there is a valid, face-to-face relationship between the patient and the physician. It is not until we have validated the prescription that the medication is then mailed out.

Once a verified prescription has been received from the patient's primary care physician (PCP), the medication is then billed and mailed out. All medication charges billed by Frontier Pharmacies will appear on the customer's credit card statement with the descriptor of Frontier Pharmacies, and the phone number.

Frontier Pharmacies is a mail order pharmacy completely separate of the website where this customer issued their request for medication. It is an entirely separate entity, contracted to fill those prescriptions generated by the specific website that the customer placed their request from.

Frontier Pharmacies is not responsible for any membership or billing arrangements made between the customer and the website where the order was placed from. As was stated previously, all charges made from Frontier Pharmacies will show up on their credit card statement with the descriptor stating Frontier Pharmacies and the phone number.

In reference to the allegations that have been made towards
Wendy Mingle, PharmD:

If this customer did not receive her medication, it is most certainly because her physician did not provide Ms. Mingle and her staff with a prescription; and not because Frontier Pharmacies or Wendy Mingle is a ?predator?, committing ?internet fraud? as this customer has alleged.

Once the physician's information (provided to us by the customer through the website where they placed their order from) is verified, the physician is then contacted in order to authorize, or deny the medication requested by the customer.

This is done by obtaining a fax number from the physician's office and in turn faxing a prescription request form to the physician. This form contains the physician, patient, and medication information, and prompts the physician to either, approve, deny, or make changes to the order.

Once the pharmacy receives the prescription request form, it is reviewed for the appropriate Fax CSID (header information), indicating that the fax was indeed sent from the physician's office, as well as all other necessary prescription information. The physician's office is routinely contacted a second time for clarification, DEA Number, etc.

Receiving authorization for the medication is solely at the discretion of the patient's physician. If their physician approves it, the pharmacy receives the prescription, and the medication is mailed to them. If it is denied, the request is cancelled, and an email notifying the customer of the denial is sent, explaining that his/her physician denied their request for that particular medication.

Wendy Mingle, PharmD is a licensed pharmacist in the State of Florida, and is not, nor has she ever been owner or an officer of Frontier Pharmacies. Ms. Mingle has the utmost respect for the law and the moral and ethical standards by which the medical community abides.

Any further allegations of her on this site will be considered defamation of character and will be brought to the attention of our attorneys.

Thank you.
