I bought a computer HP Pavilion tx1000 Convertible Tablet PC for $1,400 dollars it was a brand new computer and I bought it in June of 2007. I took it back to my friends house and started to register it and such but it took about 8 minutes to start EVERYTIME when it actually started which was rare. Also it kept shutting down by itself with no explanation or warning.I was going to fly with it in a couple days.

I called Frys and was told if i can't keep the box then keep the labels by cutting them out incase i needed to return it. After that conversation i did just that. But then i tryed to start up that night again and it just would not start. I decided that first thing in the morning i would return it.

But they told me it was a HP problem and not theres. I told them i have all reciepts, books, CD's but was told it wasn't Frys problem it was HP's and my problem. I had the box labels and they said without the box they would take it back no way and would even work on it in house I would need to mail to HP.

Mind you I bought this on Sunday morning and needed to return it the next morning which is Monday. This product was less than a business day old!!

Frys and I went back and forth. I spoke to the General manager of that location and he wouldn't do anything at all. I spoke to the customer service phone line, in store and nothing there too. I bought a faulty Laptop from Frys and Frys did nothing to help, absolutely nothing at all.

I was stuck with a Laptop that doesn't work it was about 24 hours purchased and i had taken the instructions of Frys customer service and nothing nothing nothing.
Luckily when my home burnt i got money and had to repurchase all my electronics. I mailed the receipts to Customer Service showing them the 37,000 in purchases they missed out on.

Bad news was the laptop didn't burn cause i had it under my desk in a laptop brief case.
I spent all that money at other electronics stores and not Frys.

I bottom line bought a 1,400 brand new computer and 24 hours later and with several calls to Frys and their customer service did everything they instructed but they did nothing for me to return it, exchange it, get a refund, get a gift card with Frys Electronics they did absolutely nothing but take my money and run.
Frys has literally robbed me and committed fraud. Frys is scum and will never see me to do anything unless it affects their business negatively.
