I received call from Fulfillment International Corporation on 26/05/03 around 7 PM GMT. They had our details so they said You have been offered a discounted holiday package for total $937.The way they promoted on the phone looked very attractive, we said yes and bought it and made the payment by credit card on 26/05/03.As they psaid that this package is valid for two years so we thought that we will plan for summer 2004.Then i checked on internet about this company and found suspicious, I sent an email immediately on same day on 27/05/03 to cancel this package and to refund our money back. Got a reply from them that this package is non-refundable. We received our package by post on 6th June 2003.As soon as we read the documents & found there was additional cost of $538(According to them it was port tax and service charge), again we got annoyed and requested them to cancel but got same reply that package is non refundable.

We had no option other than applying for USA visa, which we applied on 29th December 2003 and we got Visa on 8th Jan 2004.

We got documents ready along with foreign draft of $578 and sent on 17th Jan 2004 by special delivery. They received our documents on 27th Jan 2004, Now they are asking more money and not ready to refund our money at all.

This holiday package has ruined our mental piece. Please guide us, so that no other consumer in the future would face this. Would be really obliged if you can help us in this matter.

Asking refund is inaccurate and slanderous statement in Director's point of view

AUTHOR: Vijay - (United Kingdom)

POSTED: Friday, February 20, 2004

Director comments as in my previous email : "At this time, even in the light of all of the personal threats you have brandished at our company, along with all of the inaccurate and slanderous statements "

This was because i was asking for refund.
Asking refund is inaccurate and slanderous statement & publishing here is a personal threats in Director's point of view. They will reply all emails before getting money, as soon as they got full amount from you, they will stop replying emails ( company's internal terms and condition)

My wife wrote mail to Director:

Dear Judy,

Let me tell you one thing that after having all those conversation with one or the other person from you customer service, I did tell them that we are going to send those papers by post, cause they said that, we will only accept your original vouchers, they never gave me an option of faxing it, they kept on saying that we'll only reserve the dates for you once we receive those documents and added that "Our reservation department don't foresee any conflict with the dates you have requested for"

Now when your reservation department received our papers, they said that the standard cabins are fully booked, which they usually give it to their customers, and they said if we want we can get a premium cabins but we have to pay extra, we don't want any upgrade which would cost us extra, we replied to your reservation department that we don't want any upgrade, please return our foreign draft of $578. If the problem is with Cruise dates then We don't want any Cruise, we would like to keep the Orlando dates same as given and now we don't want any additional day or night in Orlando. Please return our Foreign draft of $578 which we sent you along with the vouchers, now you cannot say that this foreign draft is non-refundable.

When we bought this package on 26/05/2003 it has been said that this discounted holiday package, whereas It is not working out at all to be cheaper then any other holiday. If I would have booked the same holiday with a local travel agent it would have been at the same price and also reliable.

This has definitely spoiled our holiday mood. And also given us a very good lesson that should not rely on distance selling items. As per law under Distance Selling Regulations 2000, a customer has right to cancel or return the product within 7 days of purchase. But its our fault as well that we got excited when got a call from you and said that we have been offered a discounted holiday package.

We did email to your customer service, reservation department people asking for returning our foreign draft, but when we didn't get a reply for 2-3 days then we started taking action and giving this case to the customer protection website. I will my statement back once you will send me my Foreign Draft back to me.

All I am asking is to return our foreign draft of $578.

Thanks very much for taking some time out and giving a proper reply, where as you staff has given prompt reply when I was asking all the question about how to send the money and stuff, but ever since this problem has arose they have became very slow in replying.

Hoping to get a proper and positive reply from you.

But as usual, no reply so far according to internal terms and condition.

False Statements from Fulfillment International Corporation

AUTHOR: Vijay - (United Kingdom)

POSTED: Friday, February 20, 2004

Hi,

As you can see that, they promise that they will book dates.
I replied for above email that if they can't give cruise for my travel dates, and then return my foreign draft of $578 US. No reply so far.

They are prompt in taking money, not in return.

I found few good companies who are ready to take this case against Fulfillment International Corporation. They are looking this matter and will get back to me very soon.

In the mean time if any body suffer from this fraud, please inform nearest USA embassy, they will guide you properly.

Wait for next update..

Fulfillment International Corporation's Director asking more funds

AUTHOR: Vijay - (United Kingdom)

POSTED: Thursday, February 19, 2004

When i sent 20 emails and one fax then i got one reply ( below) , again asking for fund, although we already sent full amount to them.

Please be aware of this fraud company, I already suffered from this now my aim is safe people as much as i can. I'm giving this matter to media, Watch Dog BBC and credit card company.

I'll keep updating you all.

Mr. Singh,

Your e-mails and various other types of communications have been forwarded to me for review. As stated previously, part of the reason our travel products package is so highly discounted is because we follow a regimented set of terms and conditions. These policies are clearly defined to every customer BEFORE their credit cards are ever charged for the initial package purchase. All customers are made well aware of all terms and conditions during a lengthy and detailed digitally recorded telephone verification process. Unless the customer clearly demonstrates that he/she is in full understanding and acceptance of the terms and conditions attached to the sale, their credit cards are not charged and the sale is canceled. However, once the transaction has been completed, the purchase is non-refundable, also one of the terms and conditions outlined during the tape-recorded conversation. Another mandatory condition attached to the usage of the holiday portion of the travel products package is the requirement of a MINIMUM of 90 days advance notice of travel. Again, this statement is clearly made during the verification process, and the customer must state that they understand and agree to this condition of sale before the transaction will be processed by us.

We go to great lengths to supply our customers with the finest products and travel experience possible for a significantly discounted pricetag. Not once have we ever failed to supply the products we sold to a customer, and not once have we ever refused to travel any customer who follows the guidelines that our discounted package requires. At this time, even in the light of all of the personal threats you have brandished at our company, along with all of the inaccurate and slanderous statements you have written and posted, we are not denying you and your family your right to travel. We are merely asking you to adhere to the package requirement of at least 90 days advance notice of your requested travel date. You could very easily have either sent the request and the applicable port taxes and service fees via parcel post at an early enough date so as to insure our receipt in a package-timely fashion, or you could have done what a lot of customers have found to be very convenient - faxed your reservation forms with the requested dates accompanied by a bank wire transfer. This method takes a few minutes of time and virtually guarantees no delays will be caused by any type of courier service. However, we cannot begin reconfirming your requested dates without first receiving the proper funds to do so.

We have successfully traveled thousands of satisfied customers over the past several years. Are there policies and rules that must be followed by both sides? Absolutely. We have fulfilled every aspect on our end so far. We ask that you do the same, and your travel dates will be promptly booked for you. We await your reply.

Sincerely,

Judy Hamilton, Director
Fulfillment International Corporation
