Fulfillment International Corporation ripoff unsupportive and impersonal business Coldwater Michigan

I was approached by this company to purchase a vacation package. I was told about a non-refundable policy, which I asked whether or not there would be forgiveness of course in emergency situations only. The package was told to me was transferable, but my family's financial situation is not something that they can play with. They also informed me that I could extend the 1 year deadline for another year and so on.

I was told this month that I am late on some Student Loan payments, due to some paper work problems and I approached the company to ask for forgiveness and withdraw my package, with penalty of course.

The company offered me a half price package deal with the remainder due at time of travel.

At this moment in time I have just begun a new contract, finished paying off my medical bills and I am now paying off student loans. My wages are not that great, and after all my bills are paid off, I am barely able to make it through the two weeks between pays.

I have approached the company several times, pleading the case, and ensuring them that I would participate at a later time if they can withdraw me now. I will incur more interest on the package in the year than I will be able to pay on it.

They offer it at $449 USD each half, but that translates to around the $600 CDN mark. I am stuck. I have appealed, asked to speak personally with the director as the phone number I was given will not pick up nor take a message, and have been responded to rudely. I was not informed of the strictness of the non-refundable policy, but I am also under the impression that if it is a real problem they can take steps to assist.

My request was to withdraw with penalty, for my own luck being bad.

I wish for this to be amended and that their policy to welcome emergencies, whether they totally understand or not. So for 2 weeks I have made my plea and had the same response.
