Full Circle Doula Amy Austin - refused to return money for services not provided Barrie, Ontario

Amy Austin, owner of Full Circle Doula represents herself as a DONA trained birth doula, however she is not certified in any way nor does she belong to any of the professional doula organizations.  She completely misrepresented herself and the services she would provide, and even asked to be paid in full several weeks before our baby was due.  We became very unhappy with her service and terminated her accordingly, but she refused to return the unearned portion of her fee to us, despite numerous requests.  She is a total fraud and low life who will take anything she can get her hands on whether it belongs to her or not.  Obviously since she chooses not to be a professional, we had no recourse to follow up her completely inappropriate behaviour and we are now out the full fee for services not provided.

Please beware before hiring her as your doula!!  Much like a lot of fraud artists, she represents herself really well and it takes a while to figure out she is not who she says she is.  She certainly fooled us.
