I was searching around the internet for the lowest price for my Canon lens. I found that Fumfie offers the lowest price at the moment for the item that I am looking for ($2069) + $14 rush shipping. I placed my order without checking their reputation, I made a very HUGE mistake since I believe that their rating in BBB is an A. I guessed it should be fine. I also saw their 30 day hassle free return sign. I did not check to verify their return policy until a problem happened. Their 30 day hassle free return sign is totally BS. When I take a look at their return policy, only 14 days for return for both defective and non-defective item. For non-defective item return, they will charge a 15% restocking fee. However, this is not the real issue.

They shipped me the package 2 days later by UPS ground while they are supposed to send me my package by something better since I had to pay $14 for the shipping. [continued below]....

..... UPS Ground is FREE. This is one thing.

The second issue is even worse. I received my package 5 days later. My son was so excited since this is his gift. He recorded the whole unboxing video to share his new toy with his fellow photographers. So the whole unboxing process was recorded continuously, uncut. The item came out to be a LENS CUP. Really? A lens cup with the appearance that looks exactly like the real lens with a bunch of rocks inside to even make it looks, feels and weighs like a real lens. I called the store immediately and their customer service was closed. I called the day after and reported everything. The CSR, Simon, told me to send some pics to their customer service email at I did. I also notified them that my son recorded a video and I asked if they would like to take a look at it as well. They ignored the video and they did not respond that week. On Monday the following week, they called me and told me a bunch of BS stuff; which later, I found out that they are trying to not taking the responsibilities in this matter and they blamed it on UPS (the shipping courier). I said that this has nothing to do with UPS. The CSR said "of course it does, UPS delivered the package". Well, yes UPS did delivered the package; however, the contents inside were from Fumfie. The CSR acted like it was my fault and I do not know the laws. He told me that this is a crime, this is a fraud, this is grand larceny and grand theft. I was like really? I went to law school. I do not care what it is. All I care about is Fumfie did not send me the right item and I want my money back.

I asked to return the item multiple times and they ignored. In order for me to return the item, I need their RMA# and their return address. They did not give me any kind of info. I know that they are trying to make it hard on me so I can't return the item. Well, I contacted my bank and BBB. My bank credited me back the money and an investigation is under process. BBB also contacted Fumfie.

As a side note, if one of you at Fumfie is reading this, I am telling you that you cannot run away from this case. I am willing to take you to small court claim if needed. And next time, no law lecture is needed.



And if you run into a problem like mine, do not let them get away. Contact your bank, BBB. Take them to small claim court or take any legal action if needed. These crooks need to stop scamming people.
