Hi. I ordered a Canon camcorder from Fumfie.com thinking they were a reliable website since I looked up reviews on them and the reviews were all positive but I strongly believe these reviews were fabricated and falsified by Fumfie.com I ordered a Canon camcorder on Wednesday January 13, 2010 and asked for standard delivery which should be 7-10 business days according to their website. I was told that i would be emailed an invoice and I never received that e-mail. I just recently had a baby (thats the reason I need the camera) and have been VERY busy and didnt get a chance to call Fumfie until today Thursday January 21, 2010. I asked why I didnt receive an email with invoice and a guy who says his name is "Tom" said for me to hold on then he asked if my e-mail was so and so and I said yes then he said ok I will send that out now. Then I asked why it wasnt sent out in the first place if they clearly have my e-mail on file there. He was rude and seemed irritated at me questioning him. He asked what my point was and said he's sending it now! Very very rude. I asked him to stay on the line while I retrieved the email and then I came to find that the shipping address was incorrect. They mispelled my street address and they used my street name as the city name also. I complained about this. I told him that if the camera got lost because of the incorrect address I would not be held responsible. He began telling lies about how I had ordered this online and it was my fault. Then I explained to him that I had placed this order over the phone because the website said orders over the phone would receive a free camera starter kit. He completely ignored my point and continued to say I ordered online. Then I told him "how come my invoice says I will receive a free starter kit? Your website says only orders over the phone will receive this free starter kit". He completely dodged my point and proceeded to say he wasn't going to argue with me. Anyways then I asked him when I should expect to receive the camera and he said the end of the month. The standard shipping I paid for is supposed to take 7-10 business days so actually I should receive the camera by tomorrow Friday or Monday at the latest. As you can see everything is going wrong with my order and this person I was speaking to "Tom" was being very rude and disrespectful towards me. As if though he were doing me a favor! I'm doing him a favor by purchasing off his website. I say "his" website because I have a hunch that this is his home run business because when I asked to speak to his manager he said he is the manager with an attitute. He was yelling at me and telling ME to bring it down a couple of notches, Unbelievable! I said I wanted to cancel my order and he yelled at me and said fine. Said he didnt need my business and proceeded to be rude and then he made a racist remark (I'm Hispanic). For anyone reading this, if you are thinking about purchasing something from Fumfie.com I suggest you rethink it. Amazon is a better choice, they have professional customer service and they are reliable and safe to purchase from.
